kicks off in the capital Moscow on Monday, the Exhibition "Expo Arabia 2019" amid the active participation of Russian and Arab companies, officials of the Russian government and Arab governments.
The aim of the economic activity is to give momentum to relations between Russia and the Arab world and upgrade them to a new level, in addition to developing cooperation between Russian companies and Arab companies.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is due to address the opening session of the fair, which will be held from April 8 to 10.
The exhibition coincides with the 12th session of the Arab-Russian Business Council at the Moscow Central Exhibition Hall, opposite the Kremlin.
These activities are organized by the Russian-Arab Business Council, the Union of Arab Chambers, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Russian Ministry of Industry, Economy and Energy.

Russia's special envoy to the Middle East and African countries, Mikhail Baghdanov, said during his meeting with Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Wednesday that his country looks forward to further cooperation and continued work of companies and projects in Iraq.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the Prime Minister's Office received the Russian President's Special Envoy to the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Baghdanov, who conveyed the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, and the desire of the Russian leadership to develop relations with Iraq in the political, economic, military and energy projects and oil and gas.
"The pride of Iraq and its people in relations with Russia and Russia," he said, expressing his "thanks to the Russian leadership in support of Iraq and expand cooperation in all fields."

ambassador to Moscow, Haider al-Athari, on Friday called on the chairman of the Russian House of Representatives Securities Commission Anatoly Aksakov to work together and coordinate efforts on cybersecurity.
