The Iraqi airline company announced on Monday that it has achieved an increase in the number of flights, indicating that it was able to transport 205 thousand passengers during the month of February.
"The total number of passengers who took tickets from the booking and issuing offices of the company amounted to about 205,436 to various sectors of the national carrier," the company's general manager Abbas Nasser said in a statement. 
He added that "the achievement of this increase came through the outstanding services provided by Iraqi Airways and the introduction of new services within the company's plan of action for 2019, which aims to provide all the needs and desire of the passengers, including electronic reservation services and customer service free and transfer offices bags in the regions of the capital and the adoption of the mechanism Sophisticated electronic booking and ticketing as well as competitive prices compared to other companies. "
He pointed out that "it is hoped that these rates will witness a significant increase during the coming period through the directives of the Minister of Transport Abdullah Laibi the importance of opening new sectors between Iraq and the rest of the world, which falls within the policy of the ethnic government open to the regional and international environment."
