The Integrity Commission discussed with the Integrity Committee in the House of Representatives, on Thursday, draft draft amendment of the law of the Fund for the recovery of Iraqi funds No. (9 for 2012).
The Commission said in a statement received / Mawazine News, a copy of it, that "I discussed with the Integrity Committee in the House of Representatives, the draft amendment of the law of the Fund for the recovery of Iraqi funds No. (9 of 2012)," noting that "the meeting was held at the Iraqi Academy to combat corruption in the Commission "He said.
The statement added that "the meeting exchanged ideas and visions and discussions on the paragraphs of the draft law, which was agreed to modify, to contribute to the process of recovering Iraq's funds abroad," pointing out that "the Board of Directors of the Fund, chaired by the Integrity Commission consists of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Oil and Finance, , In addition to the Central Bank of Iraq and the Federal Financial Control Bureau and the National Intelligence Service and the Supreme National Authority for Accountability and Justice.
The Integrity Commission, in its annual report for 2018, announced in February that it had sent the first amendment to the law to the State Council and the Government to take its way to the House of Representatives, which is now on its agenda to read it and vote on it.
