Ministry of Planning Launches Results of Labor Market Assessment and Skills Analysis Survey in Iraq

The Ministry of Planning launched the results of the Labor Assessment and Skills Analysis Survey carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics. It included eight governorates, two governorates of Kurdistan Region, within the framework of the technical and vocational education and training reform project and with the support and funding of the European Union and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

For his part, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Advisor Dr. Hamed Khalaf Ahmed said that the release of the results of the labor market assessment and skills analysis survey in the center and the region is the fruit of the project of technical and vocational education and training reform carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics in cooperation with UNESCO and the British Council.
