Economy News Baghdad:
Iran's share of exports of Iranian goods rose to 8.2 billion dollars in 11 months during the period from March 21, 2018 to February 19, the head of the Iranian customs authority, Mehdi Miroshvi, said.
Mir Ashrafi, who met with the customs delegation of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, said Tuesday that the total exports of non-Iranian goods amounted to 40 billion dollars in the period mentioned.
Mir Ashrafi expected Iraq's annual exports to reach $ 10 billion by March 20, 2019.
He added that Iraq's commodity exports amounted to 8.2 billion dollars and came second only to China by 100 million dollars, reflecting the transformation of Iraq soon to Iran's first trading partner in the sector of non-oil exports.
For his part, Saman Abdul Rahman Aziz, head of the Customs Authority in Kurdistan, Iraq, the signing of a resolution to transit 200 thousand tons of Iranian goods to Syria across the border of the region.
