He pointed out that "the exported quantities were loaded by (33) international companies of different nationality, through the ports of Basra and Khor al-Amaya and federal buoys in the Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan."

Iraq exports crude oil currently from the southern ports in Basra and Kirkuk fields after it was stopped during the past two years as a result of the region's non-compliance with the oil agreement with the federal government.
