Iraq's national intelligence service on Thursday dismantled "the largest group of terrorist gangs in the history of Iraq" with hundreds of millions of dollars.

The Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TICA) plans to implement projects in Iraq, over the next three years, worth at least 50 million dollars. Signing a commercial economic agreement between Iraq and Kuwait

Trade Minister Mohammed Hashim al-Ani signed an agreement with Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan on Thursday for bilateral cooperation in all fields.

"Iraq and Kuwait signed a memorandum of joint bilateral cooperation in all fields and agreed on the mechanisms of economic integration and resolving the outstanding problems between the two countries," a ministry statement said.

Al-Ani added that "the Iraqi-Kuwaiti agreement is a first step in the right direction to activate economic and trade relations and overcome the problems of the previous phase."

For his part, said the Kuwaiti Minister of Trade and Industry, "We have found a deep understanding of the three presidencies of the importance of starting the Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations to a broader and more comprehensive, which links us to narrow interests." LINK

This is a significant piece to understanding where we are in the MR.... If you read into yesterday's article and today's article we see that we are at the doorstep to our reward. King Salman to Abdul Mahdi: We support the security and reconstruction of Iraq

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi received a phone call from Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, during which he discussed expanding relations of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields, thus realizing the common interests of the Iraqi and Saudi peoples and enhancing the chances of security and stability in the region.

In a bold Lebanese move, economist and banking expert Ziad Hayek announced that Lebanon had nominated him to the presidency of the World Bank in a major challenge to US President Donald Trump's candidate to lead the huge global financial institution, according to a tweet to Hayek through his Twitter profile.

Hayek, who has been Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Privatization in Lebanon since 2006, presented the official letter issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Finance for his nomination. International Police on Iraq's borders

The Security Committee of the Basra Provincial Council announced on Thursday the opening of the International Police Bureau (Interpol) in the port of Safwan, the only land border between Iraq and Kuwait, and confirmed the presence of similar offices in commercial ports.
