BAGHDAD (Reuters) 

- US President Donald Trump said Wednesday that next week Washington could announce the final elimination of a militant organization. 
"Next week we may announce the final elimination of a pre-eminent organization in what they call the Caliphate," Trump said in a press statement. 
"We have managed to eliminate the most prominent leaders in Syria and Iraq," Trump said. 
This comes after Trump announced recently his intention to withdraw his troops from Syria.
