Jordan's King Abdullah II received on Sunday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party leader Massoud Barzani, was discussed ways of strengthening cooperation with the Kurdistan region in various fields.
This came in a statement to the Royal Court, where he noted that 'during the meeting reviewed the Jordanian-Iraqi relations, and ways to improve the levels of cooperation in various fields between Jordan and the Kurdistan Region'.
"His country supports the security and stability of Iraq and stands by the Iraqi people in achieving their aspirations for a prosperous future," King Abdullah said.
He pointed out that during the meeting, "a number of regional issues were discussed, in addition to the efforts of the war on terror within a comprehensive approach."
