Minister of Industry and Minerals Saleh al-Jubouri said on Saturday that the volume of trade exchange between Iraq and Jordan will rise to 800 million dollars.
"I will hold consultative meetings with a Jordanian ministerial delegation led by Prime Minister Omar al-Razaz, arrived in Iraq on Friday, on an official visit," Jubouri said in a statement to the Jordanian newspaper Al-Ghad.
Jubouri added that "the meetings aimed at completing the discussions on the industrial side and the completion of the industrial city project between the two countries, in addition to discussing the exemption of Jordanian products to enter the Iraqi markets."
Jubouri expected that "the volume of trade exchange between Jordan and Iraq to double," noting that "it is currently about 400 million dollars." Ending / 25
