Abdul Mahdi: We follow the situation in Mosul and Basra and work on the return of displaced persons to their areas
BAGHDAD /
Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said on Monday that the government is monitoring the situation in the provinces of Basra and Mosul, while noting that it is working to return the displaced to their areas.
"The Council of Ministers discussed in its meeting today, the reality of the service of the capital Baghdad and other cities, in addition to the agreements of enforced concealment to prevent interpretation and injustice against citizens," Abdul-Mahdi said in a weekly conference of the Cabinet meeting, which was followed by "Al-Ghad Press". Meetings with local governments to enhance communication and solve problems themselves. "
"The country is suffering from economic problems that need radical solutions without relying on patchwork solutions," he said, adding that "we are working to bring more displaced people back to their areas."
"The government is working to support the institutions of civil society to carry out its duties and activities," he said, adding that it was "following the situation in the provinces of Basra and Mosul."
He expected Abdul Mahdi, "Iraq will see visits to senior officials in the near future," welcome to "vote on the candidates of the Ministries of Education, Migration and Displaced in today's meeting."
