Al-Huda Institute for Strategic Studies, in cooperation with the University of Maysan and Imam Kadhim College, held a scientific conference entitled "Transformations and Horizons in Iraq after 2003" in the building of the Conference Palace on the Corniche of Maysan.
The director of the institution Hussein al-Saadi told the conference that the conference aims to determine the changes and dimensions in the situation of Iraq after 2003 and take this to turn it into a positive situation.
The Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Maysan Hashim Darraji said that the conference dealt with 65 researches from inside and outside Iraq, and included research political, economic, intellectual, cultural and social aspects of the transformation of Iraq.
"These conferences are a step towards reforming the Iraqi reality, and we hope that the institutions of Maysan will work on this research in order to develop its curricula," he said.
