It was good that documents in Iraq, like the budget, are showing numbers that imply 1:1 with USD. That would not be the case if they were not intending to go forward with the RV soon.

Even though we get disappointed by the delays if they are delays how many are still in this!!! So that means we will manage the funds well because it took us so long to get there! Right!

The Chinese are into numerology, so my guess would be 11/11/2018 which is 11 - 11 - 11. Those are master numbers. It is a three day weekend.

msmann1943....just read it---this is a brief excerpt--China has made a public announcement that they would RV their currency on Mon. Nov. 12 (which would be Sun. Nov. 11 around 8 pm EST). Sources pointed to Sun. Nov. 11 as a likely start date for GCR, with a back wall of Nov.4….. this is consistent with tony's explanation

Susana If it is true that China is going to take charge on their currency revalue. They are sending a message to the world that they are the New Leaders, showing bravo! after watching this iraq thing the last 15 years

I believe you all got this wrong regarding China. They have altered their currency off an on for the past 10 years and THEY are not going to initiate the RV we are expecting…. GCR? Not every country in the world will not and can not alter their values regardless of what Iraq or even China does,,many countries are not positioned to change their values because their economies are not strong enough to handle an increase. Only those who have prepared will see changes

yada I agree with that. I never thought they were the initiators, thought they decided to just take charge and control by showing the world they have the Most Gold at this point. I have been reading about China accumulating Gold for 15 years now. Guess we'll see really soon now

As I understand this, china has been in this a long time, on the purchase of Iraq oil credits via the US side. That will be important for US citizens getting good rates on the IQD RV. On the Chinese currency side, that may be part of having multiple primary currencies and multiple SDR baskets. That is an IMF promulgate plan. This plan is because it is obvious that having the USD as the only reference currency plan has to end…. Plus, asset backing is currently seen as a good idea. This is an item also pushed by the IMF.

The Chinese have a Unique position being still under an Authoritarian government. they can buy and distribute assets and store assets in ways currently USA theoriitically can't. One can never know until it is too late, but 15 years ago I wa reading about China planning on getting in a powerful position because of their massive Gold accumulation they were doing behind the scenes. While the people of China got their $5 per day back then. Guess we'll see

Yes, rumors are that china has very large gold supplies, with a lot of it not in government hands. I am glad that they can afford to take the long view.

Wow Tish. Great find….. With agreement of the presidents, the cabinet should slide right through parliament…. And it sounds like the budget is done….. And we know the Oil profit sharing was agreed at 17%
