Central Bank suspends licensing of electronic payment companies

The Central Bank of Iraq, on Thursday, to stop granting licenses for electronic payment companies for a period of 'one year'.
A statement issued by the bank said that "this came in accordance with the decision of the board of directors of this bank in its session No. 1575, which is dated November 2018, which confirmed that (the suspension of the promotion of new applications to grant licenses to electronic payment companies until 31/12/2019) .
