We try to bring the TRUTH to everyone, then clowns like you (and others like Nanoo) show up and think they know it all. As investors we always encourage new approaches to finding and getting at the TRUTH. But you are not that, even though you claim you are.

When you are asked direct questions about the Iraqi dinar, you tell your listeners you don’t even follow it? Really? What the hell is your call about then? Then you push and hustle this ZIM notes as BONDS and lie to everyone about them. Oh – but you say studying these articles and events in Iraq and other countries are not important. What you need are “secret” sources to bring the TRUTH. Over and over again you tell everyone (for over a year now) that the RV is imminent. You talk about this GCR bullshit.

So we can easily see where you are coming from. There is no new approach only the same old bullshit from the same old bullshit people handing you down their bullshit. The news now is all about the elections and the launching the National Development Plan 2018-2022. REUTERS: IRAQ'S TOP SHI'ITE CLERIC HINTS AT RENEWED OPPOSITION TO MALIKI RETURN

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq’s powerful top Shi’ite cleric suggested on Friday that he had not abandoned his opposition to ex-prime minister Nuri al-Maliki, who is bidding to return to power in elections on May 12.

Making a rare intervention in politics, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani used his weekly sermon to tell Iraqis they should “avoid falling into the trap of those ... who are corrupt and those who have failed, whether they have been tried or not”.

Sistani, whose opinion is sacrosanct for millions in Iraq’s Shi’ite Muslim majority and beyond, said he was keeping an “equal distance” from all candidates and did not identify any of them by name in his sermon, read by one of his envoys, Sheikh Abdulmehdi al-Karbalai, and broadcast on television.

But the reference to Maliki was clear from his mention of the collapse of security forces in the face of Islamic State militants in 2014, when Maliki was in power. Sistani successfully blocked Maliki from taking the premiership after winning the 2014 election, paving the way for the appointment of the current prime minister, Haider al-Abadi.

“Past electoral experiments were marked by failures, many of those who were elected or appointed to high positions in the government abused their power and took part in spreading corruption and squandering public money,” Sistani also said.

Abadi successfully led the campaign to defeat Islamic State, last year recapturing the city of Mosul, their main stronghold in northern Iraq, with the backing of a U.S.-led coalition.

THREE-WAY FIGHT

The May 12 election is shaping up as a three-way contest between Abadi, Maliki and Hadi al-Amiri, a former transportation minister who bolstered his clout during the war on Islamic State as the commander of Shi’ite paramilitary forces aligned with Abadi’s government.

Abadi, a Shi’ite, was quick to welcome Sistani’s sermon, tweeting his “total support for the instructions given by the Supreme Religious Reference at Friday prayers.”

In a veiled reference to Maliki, Abadi added: “We note in particular (Sistani’s) call for the widest participation in the election and making the correct choice after reviewing the past record of candidates, mainly those who held official positions.”

The election victor will face daunting tasks of rebuilding the war-shattered country and a battle against entrenched corruption that is eating away at its oil revenue. Baghdad says at least $100 billion will be needed to reconstructing houses, businesses and infrastructure destroyed in the war.

Maliki, who holds the ceremonial position of vice-president, remains one of the most influential Shi’ite politicians in his capacity as leader of the Dawa party.

Though Abadi is a Dawa member, Maliki declined to endorse him, and the competition between the two means they would need to seek the support of other Shi’ite parties, as well as Sunni and Kurdish groups, to form governing coalitions. The prime minister heads Iraq’s executive, a post reserved for Shi’ites under a power-sharing understanding put in place after the 2003 U.S.-led invasion that toppled dictator Saddam Hussein, a Sunni Muslim.

The unwritten accord gives Kurds the mainly ceremonial position of president of the Republic, while Sunnis fill the position of parliament speaker.

The leader of a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, on Friday, that no one has the right to say that Iraq's budget is empty.

Maliki said in a speech to a tribal conference held in Karbala, that 'no one has the right to say that Iraq's budget is empty, Iraq has many good things'

"Iraq has many good assets and its balance is good and sufficient, but it needs a solid will and a government capable of providing services to the people," Maliki said.

MINISTRY OF PLANNING ANNOUNCES THE DATE OF LAUNCHING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2018-2022

Deputy Minister of Planning, Maher Hammad Johan, announced that the government will launch the National Development Plan 2018-2022 next Wednesday.

(Mnt Goat – we know that Iraq right now is still 95% govt run entities. We know the Govt just paid the farmers for the harvest of the crops. The was hundreds of millions of dollars. So we can we can see that not having to import so much can lead to not having to exchange the dinar for the dollar so much, thus leads to a higher rate for the dinar. This harvest just helped to control the rate of the dinar and keep it high. Now if Iraq can export these products this could substantially increase the value of the dinar. This is coming….)

Foreign currencies such as the dollar or the euro are rising and their exchange rates fall mainly on the amount of demand by state institutions, private sector companies or individuals To facilitate the process of obtaining goods or services from abroad or in the case of travel to the countries of the world different.

IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTICLE 140 OF THE IRAQI CONSTITUTION IS A PRIORITY

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Implementation of Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution will allow the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) can regain what it lost following the “uncalculated” independence referendum, Lahur Talabani, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK)’s counterterrorism forces, said Sunday.

Talabani was live on PUK-affiliated radio channel Kurdsat on Sunday to take questions from voters.

“Yes there has been slacking. I think Kurds became arrogant for a long time and Article 140 was neglected. We should have tried harder while Mam Jalal was in Baghdad,” said Talabani.

Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution calls for the normalization of areas it refers to as disputed, TO BE FOLLOWED BY A REFERENDUM ON WHETHER OR NOT THOSE REGIONS WANT TO BE PART OF THE KURDISTAN REGION.

According to the constitution, THE ARTICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED BY THE END OF 2007, yet so far no referendum has been conducted regarding this issue.

He cited the illness of PUK-founder and former Iraq president Jalal Talabani, the financial crisis, the war against ISIS, and other issues for distracting PUK MPs from working sufficiently on the Article 140.

He said THE MAIN TASK OF THEIR MPS IN BAGHDAD AFTER THE MAY 12 ELECTION WILL BE WORKING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ARTICLE 140.

(Mnt Goat – So we see it first hand in this article status of Article 140 law. We know article 140 is needed to RV and they are telling us this is not to happen until AFTER the elections. So when do you think the RV has a best chance of going? Just asking. Oh, but these idiot gurus say there are no needed laws. Really? Well here it is folks, they are telling us. )

He argued that the dreams Kurds tried to obtain through the referendum, which he says damaged Kurdish interests, could be obtained through the implementation of the Article 140.

Kirkuk was taken from the Peshmerga by the Iraqi Army and Hashd al-Shaabi paramilitaries in October 2017.

“Mam Jalal had a vision. It included coexistence. It included the right of self-determination, but not through the method our friends [the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)] used. There were other paths. We could have made the dreams of the people of Southern Kurdistan come true through the implementation of Article 140,” Talabani said, admitting their task has become more difficult.

However, he is hopeful that many issues, such as the joint administration of disputed territories before the implementation of Article 140, can be resolved after the elections.

“Certainly. I believe this [the return of Peshmerga to Kirkuk and disputed territories] is a thing that needs to happen. I think, after the elections, if Kurds especially garner massive votes, the Iraqi government is compelled to heed it. Based on the Iraqi constitution, these areas need to be administered jointly. We have had talks with Coalition forces, and we are on the line with Iraqi forces. But I believe these will only be concluded following Iraqi parliamentary elections,” Talabani said.

He revealed a joint operations room had been created to check any violations at the ballot box.

“This election will determine what role Kurdistan will play in Iraq,” he said.
