The Interior Ministry announced on Saturday that 133 cases of administrative and financial corruption were uncovered in the ministry last April.

The Inspectorate said that 'the committees and detachments of the Baghdad Inspection Directorate of the Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of the Interior of the discovery of 133 cases of corruption administrative and financial in the joints and departments of the ministry working in Baghdad during the month of April of this year 2018'.

She added that 'the disclosure came as a result of the efforts of inspection and audit and control exercised and implemented by the offices of the Directorate of Inspection Baghdad to the departments and joints of the ministry in Baghdad.'

"The monthly report issued by the Inspectorate Directorate in the Inspectorate of Internal Affairs for the month of April of 2018 said that its staff was able during the month of the discovery of 117 cases of administrative corruption and 16 cases of financial corruption.

She pointed out that the indicators of administrative corruption discovered were 82 cases of negligence, 18 cases of functional exploitation, 12 cases of fraud, two cases of abuse of power, and two cases of abuse, in addition to the case of one disciplinary violations.

She pointed out that 'indicators of financial corruption were detected, 7 cases of bribery, and 4 cases of waste of public money, and cases of concealment of materials, and the same theft, and the case of theft of one'.

The report pointed out that 'the disclosures came as a result of the implementation of the staff of the Directorate of Inspection Baghdad for 27 audit bodies, and 179 visits and inspection tour during the month.
