Due to weak government and international support .. War remnants threaten returnees to Anbar

The Euphrates -
A member of the provincial council of Anbar province said Wednesday that the remnants of war continue to pose a serious threat to civilians and displaced persons returning to areas west of Anbar after being freed from a sympathetic organization.
The council said that the cities of the Upper Euphrates, including Qayyim, Rawah, Anba and al-Ubaidi, which are liberated from the organization of the terrorist advocate west of Anbar, still contain thousands of explosive devices, war remnants and booby-trapped houses, which pose a grave danger to the lives and safety of civilians, especially displaced families. Adding that the security forces have worked to dismantle a large number of remnants of war during the past period, but the disaster that there are improvised explosive devices and houses not discovered because of the methods used in the booby traps by terrorist elements, pointing to the explosion, including the killing and wounding dozens of civilians.
Pointing out that the western regions need international and government support to provide explosives detection devices and training security elements to lift and dismantle the waste, which has become a serious danger to innocent civilians as they move from one area to another.
