The Euphrates -

Parliament decided on Sunday to postpone its meeting to Monday because of the lack of quorum.

The parliamentary sources, had talked about the existence of an agreement between the political blocs, to disrupt the parliamentary session scheduled on Sunday, to prevent the questioning of the Minister of Electricity Qassim Fahdawi, and the head of the Shiite Endowment Alaa Musawi.

In turn, MP Masoud Haider, on Sunday, postponed the passage of the budget laws and provincial council elections after the parliamentary elections.
"There are natural debates in the parliament and a dialogue among deputies on the need to legislate the budget law and provincial elections law," Haider said.

The Kurdish MP 'as there are constitutional and legislative observations on the budget, including the failure to hold a meeting between the heads of blocs and the Finance Committee with the Prime Minister, as agreed weeks ago, even after the budget is presented in the Council to be read first.
He pointed out that 'regarding the provincial councils, there is a problem about the elections in the province of Kirkuk, and so far has not been reached a formula agreed by all the political blocs'.
Haidar said that 'these two laws will not be legislated now, and will be postponed until after the parliamentary elections,' adding that 'the lack of entry of some parliamentary blocs to parliament is political, and this thing is normal and not new'.
