Parliament postpones discussion of electoral law and budget to next Thursday

Revealed the decision of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the Iraqi parliament, postponement of the discussion of the law of the general budget and set the date of elections to next Thursday, during a meeting of the presidential body of the House of Representatives and heads of parliamentary political blocs, on Sunday.
"Despite the meeting of the presidential body of the House of Representatives and the heads of the political blocs on Sunday (January 14th), the meeting did not produce any results," said Nada Mirgeh Suri, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Bloc in the Iraqi parliament.
Adding «has been postponed discussion of the budget law and the date of elections, to Thursday».
This is not the first time that the discussion of the federal budget law is postponed in the Iraqi parliament.
And some Iraqi political parties are seeking to postpone the Iraqi parliamentary elections scheduled for next May.
