"Beware of Scams" by (Anonymous) 1/13/18

Think about this before donating to people.....

Especially Gurus.

Particularly gurus like Becky McGee/Oootah. She said we should be at the bank Tuesday, but is in dire need of donations. Doesn't she believe her own "intel" or is she just doing calls to prey on your emotions for profit?

I hope you are all doing well in this long journey that we have all been in together. Stay strong.

I have been with and apart of several groups for a little over 3 years now, and I have seen so many people come and go. I have noticed other people stating that they have nothing and need help financially. Some people that have posted over the past year alone have made mistakes stating they need a certain amount of money for this, this, and this.... Some saying they need money or will be out on the streets and cannot pay their IPhone bill or car payment. Reading this and stating that they need money when they can afford a IPhone, house, and car.... Please do not take this the wrong way a lot of people struggle in life and myself and my family have been in the same situation and had to end up selling stuff in my own home and some of kids toys etc. to make ends meat.

Just remember before donating money to people that you do not know, really think about it. Of course you have to make the judgement call as we are all adults and can make our own choices. Whether or not we choose to give someone money through PayPal or not. The question is though...... Is this person really needing help or is he/she just “fishing” to see if someone will give them money? We truly do not know endless we personally know that individual.

I personally have helped someone that I have *seen* on the side of a gas station digging through garbage. I could tell 100% he was in dire need of help from what he was wearing and doing at that time. I believe, God was telling me that, “if I am willing and able to help this guy out then go for it and make his day/week or even life”. (I actually drove away then turned around to go back after I had looked in my cup holder and had $20. As I had gotten back to the gas station he was still there doing the same thing. I got out of my truck and I gave him the $20 I had on me and this man who had NOTHING is trying to give the $20 back saying, “no thank you, I will be okay.”) WHAT?! REALLY?! I know he needed that money more than I did and he still said he was okay and thanked me. That right there made me sad and wished I had more to give him. He ended up taking the $20 and thanked me over and over.

All I am saying is think before you act. If you feel that deep down in your heart and you feel that God is saying do it then by all means.
