The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed that "the general budget for 2018 included a paragraph relating to the employee's leave for five years, and will be voted by parliament as a substance within the law similar to the budget of 2017."

A member of the Finance Committee, Mahasen Hamdoun, said that "the government added a new item that if the employee took a vacation for more than 5 years, it is registered without a salary and calculated service, and the right to work in the private sector."
 
"The size of the budget of 2018 is 104 trillion dinars, a default deficit of 14 trillion dinars, equivalent to 13.4%, while the value of revenues of the budget of 90 trillion dinars, of which 77 trillion dinars imports of crude oil and 13 trillion dinars from other sectors , As for the share of Kurdistan has been reduced to 12.67% as well as the price of $ 46 per barrel of oil, while the proportion of the salary of employees is 3.8%.
