Abadi: Our fight against corruption is not for political and electoral purposes

confirmed Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi , on Tuesday, the continuation of the government 's efforts in the fight against corruption, saying that the fight against corruption is not for "political or electoral purposes", while accused some officials in the territory of Kurdistan to "insist on the bloodshed."
"There is a campaign aimed at stirring up lobbying to block government achievements," Abadi said at his weekly press conference, according to state television.
"Our efforts are continuing to combat corruption," he said, adding that "our fight against corruption is not for political or electoral purposes."
In a separate context, Abadi continued that "some officials in the Kurdistan region insists on bloodshed."
Abadi, on Monday (4 December 2017), the Supreme Council for the fight against corruption to resolve the files in his possession and raise the obstacles that prevent the resolution of many of the issues lag to recover funds and provide corrupt to the judiciary, pointing to the importance of resolving the files of corruption major.
