Al-Fayadh said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "the oil tanker company is a transport company and not a marketing company," pointing out that "the oil marketing company ( SOMO ) is entitled to sell Iraqi oil."

"It is supposed to present this contract signed between the Iraqi oil tankers company and the Arab Maritime Oil Transport Company to large consultants to scrutinize the details in a large way, because it does not serve the general interest of the country," adding that "the share of Iraq is few."

He continued a member of the Committee on Energy , said : "This contract shall be subject to competition because we have not heard from him only a short period."
