Alsumaria News / Baghdad The
Head of the Dawa bloc, the internal organization Ali al-Badiri, Saturday, that some corrupt institutions and banks roam freely despite the issuance of arrest warrants against them, calling on the Prime Minister Haider Abadi to form a special committee to follow up the activation of arrest warrants against these corrupt. Al-Badairi said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "some senior officials and influential in the Iraqi state is not in their interest to activate the arrest warrants against some corrupt institutions of the state and private banks for fear of revealing their corrupt names or corrupt transactions that involved with them," noting that " The Integrity Commission and the Financial Control Bureau not to submit to these pressures and that there is a central monitoring and activation of arrest warrants.
He added that "many corrupt people are not inside the country and some of them are moving freely inside the country. Therefore, the foreign ministry must follow those corrupt people outside the country." He called on Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and the judicial and judicial authorities to " . "There is a need to form a committee of the regulatory bodies linked directly to the prime minister so as not to be pressured by the whales of corruption and specializes in follow-up cases of arrest against corrupt institutions of the state and private banks." Financial and administrative corruption is spreading in Iraq
The Transparency International ranks it high on the list of the most corrupt countries in the world, but the Iraqi government often criticizes the organization's reports on corruption and considers it inaccurate and based on information received through local and foreign companies failed to implement service projects in Iraq.
