Iran: Iraq should take care of cultural issues after overcoming security crises

The head of the Expediency Council in Iran , who is visiting Iraq currently Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi , on Monday, that Iraqi officials should pay attention to the cultural, social and educational issues, after overcoming their country 's security crisis.

Shahroudi's remarks came today, according to "IRNA", during the meeting with Iraqi Vice President Nuri al-Maliki , attended by the Secretary of the Expediency Council Muhsen Rezai.

In this meeting, Rezaei noted the defeat of "enemies of Islam" who sought to impose security crises on Iraq thanks to the steadfastness of the government, the people, scientists and the popular mobilization forces in this country.

"America and Israel are following the scheme of influence inside Iraq," he said. "According to the reports, they are seeking through non-governmental organizations to infiltrate and attract elites."

In turn, Nuri al-Maliki said in this meeting, "his appreciation for the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran to his country," stressing "the need to strengthen infrastructure and fill the societal needs and solve the dilemmas and challenges of cultural and social in Iraq."

Maliki said that "support Iraq to receive foreign investors, especially facilitate the activity of Iranian businessmen in this country."
