The United Nations, IMF, and World Bank do not want to see an independent Kurdistan.  That would be a disaster for the country.

It is all up to what Baghdad will offer the Kurds.  They need to offer lands the Kurds think they are theirs, and lands they fought ISIS for.  They also need good conditions of the Oil & Gas Law, which might exceed the original 17%.

I am sorry to say, but the Kurds are in the driver's seat.

The Reconciliation Law is a priority, and is many months off.

The future, not the value, of the dinar depends on the outcome
