Turkish fighter jets hit PKK sites in Iraq

Turkish fighter jets bombed PKK positions in northern Iraq and killed at least 10 of its members, a Turkish army statement said.
The strikes were carried out in the areas of Zab, Sinat and Huftanin of Iraq on Saturday on the basis of intelligence information reported PKK readiness to carry out attacks in the Turkish depth, according to the army.
On Saturday, Turkish forces killed seven gunmen trying to infiltrate Turkish territory from Iraq.
