What happened to the color banner up top? The bigger Q is, it's after 11.00 and why am I still up? lol |

Is it me or did the News area above (where we could see the colored status) disappear? |
I have a long day today, needed to deposit a check at WF and saw my WM their. he called me over and gave me some good news.....what I will say we are close. have a great night Wizofog14 |

Hi all. Seems weird that the colour code status has gone already. It seems now new members are being taken too. Very strange rather like our RV Intel. Where is it ???? |
Yep I’m still here after an enjoyable evening with my wife. Oh I did pop in every now and again from my I phone just to make sure there were no 800 numbers slipped in whilst I was looking the other way. So ad to hear that we may still have mole amongst us. Really just how hard is it to keep our names and our post out of the Dinar Daily and from there scattered to the four winds. I always felt that sort of stuff was beneath the integrity of this board. Apparently not even here. |
So it looks like tomorrow may be our lucky day, but then we have heard that line before.(too many times)So there is still time to get all of your things checked and rechecked. A couple months ago I decided to let my hair grow. Currently it is longer than it has ever been. If my sons could see me now they might not recognize me. Yes I have two sons One of my sons carries my name as does his son. I pray for them each night as I pray for our members here. Like it or not we are all related. |

I believe many countries will adopt a currency reform of sorts but certainly not at the same time. That would create global turmoil to say the least |

We - someone gave me a few tips to prepare for them to take our currency and hold it: make copies of currency I hold being careful to show serial numbers. Then give to bank in several small batches on exchange. So if the bank comes back with "somethings not right" we can ask which serial number. We say hold that batch and release the rest now. |
Natureaddict - sorry I was away for a minute. Yes, I have called over a dozen banks in my state. I ask for the foreign currency department. Sometimes I get it, sometimes the general operator wants to field my questions. I say "my boyfriend" is coming back from working in Asia and will have yen and yuan to sell. Do they have a machine to verify currency on site? If not how do they verify and how long will they hold the currency? |
Beagle - I will probably exchange in my state's capital. I've been calling several banks there. If I can't find one that verifies currency same day, my back-up plan to exchange in Vegas. (Wells verifies currency same day there. And NV is a no-income tax state.) |
Sometimes when I call, I say "the boyfriend" has been working in Qatar. That tells me how they handle callers wanting info about uncommon currencies. Qatar has been hiring lots of foreigner to work on the buildings for the world soccer games (whatever they are called). FYI |
I've been posting the results of my calls on my state forum. My fantasy is that every state forum will have reports from people in that state on which banks have the ability to veriifiy currency and site and fund my accounts same day. |
We should all be prepared in case there are no special RV 800#s. Gathering info and sharing on the state forums would be super great. |
And the more I speak with foreign currency employees, the more I get to know their questions, lingo, etc. |

Nature - do not mention dinar, Zimbabwe dollars, or dong. The workers have been given scripts for questions about those currencies. Ask about a currency in Europe , Asia, New Zealand, or Australia. Not easy like Canada or Mexico but not hard, like Africa |
