VET ANY CHARITY FIRST
I keep seeing information about names of charities that people are suggesting. My great concern is that we recognize how to 'vet' that the charity is a good one. It doesn't mean just hearing what they say they are doing. It means to find out.
Are they spending 99% of the money on their recipients of their programs?
Or is a big chunk, over 10% going for the staff and business expenses and other things?
Take a look at their books... their income, their expenses, their yearly reports. Look at the details. Have an expert look at the details would be even better. Have experts vet each charity and then see what could be improved. Make an offer of money if the charity agrees to change 1 or 2 or 3 or more things you find are not for the maximum benefit of the recipients.
Take a look at their salaries and business expenses.
Are they giving food to the hungry? Is it good, live, organic food which heals and actually helps the person eating?
Or is it canned, nutritionally-dead food that kills the person earlier than they would normally die? They could be eating cardboard just as well as canned food.
NOTE: Insert information that you can learn from quasiluminous youtube videos. Do you know that 'blue bloods' are called blue bloods because they have blue blood as we do in our veins but also when it hits the air. Why does their blood stay blue and ours turn red when it hits the air? Because our food is laced with iron so we have an excess of it and when it hits the air it turns red because of the iron. Blue bloods don't eat the food other people eat. Blue bloods don't eat cereal, canned foods, packaged foods, but fresh, organic, never-overheated-to-kill-the enzymes food. Quasiluminous suggests eating on copper pots and pans. I've been thinking of finding copper pots and pans. My friend, Tina, said she's been looking for a copper pitcher to put her water and let it sit overnight. That's another great idea.
What about starting a company making copper pots and pans and pitchers? What about giving to all with incomes under $1500 monthly?
What about starting a company making home-sized pyramids for us to use daily to increase our energy?
What about turning companies for profit into companies for service as Yosef suggested? I'm thinking of purchasing companies and turning all into 'Zen Zones'. See my next post where I'll describe 'Zen Zones'. If you choose to make your businesses 'zen zones', contact me at tophealthcook@gmail.com with your name, cell, city, state and good times to reach you for a call. Thanks.
What about providing a car to each person? What about making certain that they are able to drive and not only have lessons but have the therapy and help to overcome being mentally ill?
What about providing everyone a bicycle until a person has the ability and mental soundness to drive?
But that homeless and/or mentally-ill person needs to have everything else in their lives to be able to heal. A mentally-ill person needs to have a good, clean, safe, lovely home (full kitchen, laundry, living, bedroom, bathroom, garage) with enough space for all his/her things, great food, natural clothing, massage therapy, friendship with others, concierges who see person 1-3 times weekly so plenty of interaction, communication, opportunity to learn & grow, etc... this is describing one of the projects I'm going to do should this exchange ever happen for us. One project is to eliminate homelessness in America, another is eliminate mental illness in American (and use the models for other countries), and there are another 12 or 15 other projects that go along with these to create a truly wonderful community all interactive.
