Gold prices fell in early trading in Asian markets on Tuesday, hitting near the lowest level in the last three weeks and a half.
Gold prices went to $ 1,245.50 an ounce / ounce at 03:45 GMT , down about $ 5 from the previous session.
The yellow metal prices remained under pressure in light of investors ' expectations the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates as early as next June.
The Gold has climbed 18 percent since the beginning of this year as investors bet that the Fed postpone new increases in interest rates.
Yellow price dramatically affected by raising interest rates, which increases the cost of lost opportunity costs of the holders of the yellow metal , which does not generate a return.
