How to get rid of a bill collector

Two days ago I had a call from a bill collector from 2000. I've been able to get my my credit number up to 725 in the last few years and had gotten a couple of credit cards and it seems to me that they waited for me to do this to try and collect. I asked them how they could try and collect from 16 years ago and this lady spoke faster than Colbert and all double talking me so I used my new found talent of trolling and started asking her how she could sleep at night and a few other choice words and have called her back a few times telling her how low she is until she "THREATENED ME WITH THE LAW IF I CONTINUED TO HARASS HER" i TURNED IT AROUND ON THEM SINCE I HEARD HORROR STORIES OF THEM BOTHERING PEOPLE 

good for you. when  my customers do not  pay i simply  put a lean on there property and sooner or later i get paid. similar to the dinar we wait  and not get paid were  i wait and do get paid

I love to mess with phone solicitors. I'll ask them to spell their name so I can write it down and repeat back the wrong letters. Then I ask them, in a really slow voice, to speak slower. They start to really get upset when you ask them what color their house is or if it's raining where their at.

its fun  playing with bill collectors until they  reach  a certain pointe depending on the  amount then guess what you will get a knock on the door with a little white and balck piece of paper with a court date then you are screwed and have to pay for a lawyer

It was a bill from 2000 so I would love for them to take me to court

Most contractors can put a mechanics lien on your property for an unpaid bill. When you sell the house someone will have to pay before the liens are removed. Generally (around here anyway) not worth the trouble for a small bill ...

What many do not understand is that once a "debt" has been "sold" to a collection company it is then "written" off by the original holder and in fact is then considered "PAID" in full. You did not agree to anything with the collection co. so you do NOT owe them a single thing.

So NOT picking up the phone, though tons of fun messing with them, is advised. When you do this you actually verify who you are and then the process begins again.

Also do NOT respond to ANY mailers that you receive for the same reasons.

How did all of u get the idea that it was a bill from a contractor? It was a hospital bill that was supposed to be paid by workers comp and I refused to pay it. What I gather is a parasitic scumbag company picked it up twice before the seven years was up and seen I have credit cards now and told me they will take $148 a month for a year LMAO or they can mess up my credit but like then I will never pay that bill. They made it a law in 1999 to have workers comp instead of comp exempt so I was paying 28% of my profit to have ins and the first time I get injured on the job they refused to cover me and I will never pay that bill. These parasites pick up these debts for a % on the dollar and then try to collect it. My son had to pay out $3500 on a debt that his wife got when 10yrs ago she cosigned on a loan for her ex boyfriend to get a motorcycle and wrecked it and stopped paying on it. My boy wanted to buy a house and had to pay 33% of the loan to get the house. We are being raped and molested by airports and corps and we don't do nothing about it. Well I do!!! 

No body said it was .... Jayzee mentioned he just gets liens against debtor's property if they do not pay. You appeared to be wondering what he was talking about, so I explained a mechanic's lien.
