This is another great move. In the past when someone deposited funds in an Iraqi bank for wire transfer, the funds would remain for five to ten days and then the receiving bank would get the funds.

It slowed down business transactions and helped create the money trading companies.

Once this is in place it will all but eliminate the MTC's [Money Transfer Companies] who were profiting off the dysfunction of the private banks. All future deposits and transfers will happen in real time, no more lengthy delays.

Over and over we see the conflict between those who want progress and those who want to maintain the status quo.

Even with oil sales at 1/5th of revenue from two years ago, they still don't get it. When oil was at $110 a barrel they could afford to delude themselves into believing they could manage Iraq's finance's and economy, all of that changed when the price dropped.

Maybe, but changing the value of the Dinar will not change any of the issues.
