First of all, for all of you who do not appreciate me, it is not my purpose to antagonize you. Further, it is not my purpose to cause disharmony on this board. Let me offer an easy solution. When you view this post; to the upper left you will see my screen name, "Alchemist." Click on that and you will come to my profile. Once there, look to the upper right and you will see the option to add me as friend or foe. If you add me as foe, I promise to honor your request. This will mean that you and I will not see each other again in this forum. I certainly do not want to irritate you or cause unwarranted hardship to your cause by troubling with information that you feel detracts you from your purpose. As Hippocrates said, "First do no harm."

I had planned to leave this board at the end of last month. Due to feedback that I received, I am still here. There is a lot going on in my life. I have not only the pressures of a poor economy and concern over what will happen when my current employment ends, but also have pressures of family and friends who are worse off than myself. I try to stay upbeat and positive as best as I can.

My motive in sharing with all of you wonderful folks on this forum is to uplift and never cause harm. Some of the information that I share may seem contrary to this cause. A wise man once said an error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it. It is imperative that we, as a nation, correct our errors and examine our mistakes if we are to survive.

I don't post about problems which have no remedies. I offer ideas and information for the express purpose of masterminding solutions through the synergy of each of our individual efforts. Knowledge is a form of power; and to defend freedom, one must have power.

In the past I have handled rude and ignorant statements that people have made with kid gloves. If you wish to debate me or challenge the legitimacy of the information I share, have at it. I welcome serious conversation.

I have no use for short, derogatory, ignorant or rude comments or attacks. It would be wonderful if I had greater patience and tolerance. Working within the economy of my well being and time I can no longer endure such as this. So be forewarned, if I see this repeatedly from individuals, they are likely to end up on my ignore list. I mean no disrespect to anyone, I am just letting you know where I stand. Also, feel free to put me on your ignore list if my content either troubles or offends you. Thanks!

Go to the person's profile, on the upper right you will see the option to add as friend or foe. The beauty of ignoring someone is that their expression may be preserved and the person who does not want to be bothered can avoid headaches. A very nice feature!

And if it isn't...I agree that you are one of the smartest ones here and I look forward to your opinions wether I agree or not every day. Again hang in there...I know your day is coming.

Definitely smart!!! I would have to use Wikipedia to learn what some of his words mean!!! Even though I have a 4yr college degree, reading his posts makes me feel not so smart!! You are one of my favorites here! You are so smart and have so much wisdom to share! Not everybody has use for your information because it is IMO of very high vibration. Everybody has their own path and plan and will go through it at their own pace...There are always low vibration people everywhere, just ignore them and continue to be yourself!

The reason that I was considering leaving had nothing to do with anyone on this site, it had to do with personal issues. The reason that I am still here is all of you, well many of you. My earlier proclamation was to forewarn individuals who lack civility.

I know what you mean. There are few very nasty people that I believe do not belong here and I wish they were banned but you know what? We can't go through life getting rid of the people that bother us...let's just ignore them, give less power to them. I think they probably attack you because you are way too smart for them LOL, they are probably brainless and they have to attack, with a punch because they can not have a civilized argument with facts.
Stay around, you still need to teach us more of that stuff you know.

Good luck with your problems, everybody is hanging and with so many issues but everything will get better soon at least monetarily!

Follow up on some comments...

First, thanks again everybody. Second, yes that is one of my boys, that's my arm under him too. Third, with regard to the reactions of some individuals...

I don't know how much it has to do with intelligence as opposed to knee-jerk reactions. I understand how easy it can be to speak first and think later. I do it sometimes and you will see me apologize afterwards. The ego can really get in the way if permitted.

When offence is taken, most likely it is something internal. There is nothing to prove, we all (deep down inside) know what we need to know. There is no need to attack another for holding a different opinion. I do not harbor any resentment for the reactive statements that some make, that is something from within them. I am just not strong enough right now to be the bigger person so I know my limits and have just decided to ignore such things instead of letting them bother me.


Catherine, I will make it to your post later this Friday. I appreciate your different posts that are for fun and humor, as well as this type of post from everybody else. I need to finish some work and add to another edifying post and then get some sleep. Thanks again every body, what a great bunch!

Oh, before I forget, something Catherine said about assuming... I tried to make a post referrencing a Biblical theme and the nanny software prevented me! I was trying to referrence Balaam's encouter with a certain type of animal who was trying to warn him, lol!
