Michael Kaperoni: The CBI would know which notes were stolen or not

Michael Kaperoni: I have seen news out of Iraq of stolen dinar. and like any currency, they all are series numbered. So I would be cautious in that regard because the CBI would know which notes were stolen or not. They can very easily demonitize stolen banknotes.

The bottom line on buying any foreign currency now days with all the sellers you are taking a level of risk.

Not that registered dealers provide any guarantees, but the level of confidence does go up since the UST monitors them.
