Americans working on airport processing in Hasaka province in northeastern Syria for use as a military base for their planes helicopter carrying dozens of advisers and the elements who entered the country recently, according to reports from several sources and Agence France-Presse, Saturday, January 23.
It denied US military control of any airport in Syria, noting at the same time it is 'constantly seeking to increase the effectiveness of logistical support' to its forces in Syria.
A Syrian military source told AFP 'Americans are preparing a military base in an area called Abu stone in South Rmelan (Rural Hasaka north-east) for more than three months', adding that dozens of US experts involved 'at the base processing' participation and protection units of the Kurdish people, 'almost ready to work has become'.
He said 'This is not the first time that the Americans violated Syrian sovereignty'.
