Does anyone know of a reliable dealer selling Iran Rial?

look at its history. Years ago prior to sanctions they were at around 9000 per dollar now 30,000. So even if they go back to where they were years before sanctions you would have to move a ton of money to make anything. But granted if they did move back to the point and you had enough you could triple your money.

Since to my knowledge sanctions have not been fully removed, and in fact, new sanctions were just imposed because of Iran's violation of the Ballistic Missile treaty, I doubt that any reputable dealer is selling Rial. As far as I know it is still illegal for an American citizen to buy or sell Rial as an investment.

Could being the operative word. Their economy is in the crapper, and they have the sort of autocratic government unlikely to encourage people to work harder then the minimum necessary to not be noticed. I do not expect to see them flourishing anytime soon.

Shop around for Rial. You can google buy Iranian rial and look at the first six websites. Compare a few things such as:
BBB Reviews
Full Cost including Shipping Costs
Finance Feeds (sales tax)
Payment Method (credit card, paypal, cod, echeck, or bank wire)
I found a million for $70 and also $130, so SHOP AROUND.
As for reviews, it's too soon to tell.

My opinion is, do not buy from http://www.buyirr.com/
A friend of mine bought 10 or so million advertised as uncirculated. He paid for express shipping and received them three weeks later and was shorted 600,000 rials. To make it worse the currency was circulated and some were ripped. He called them and was called a lair.

Consider that it is still illegal for a US citizen to possess rial outside of Iran, that is a guarantee that not one reputable dealer will be selling it. Do not buy rial, period.

Nope, the best thing to do is seek out your own information. Read the articles posted here, especially the news ones, study what the IMF, WB, etc. have really said, and then draw your own conclusion. The only one who IMO even comes close to a no BS discussion of the facts, and posts reality based opinions is TD, and he posts pretty infrequently. I may not always agree with him, and may not like to hear what he says, but I have never caught him spewing BS.

The International Currency Exchange here in Central Florida is NOT selling, or buying the Iranian rial, and also mentioned they will have nothing to do with it whatsoever, as sanctions have been placed on the currency-The still sell and trade the dinar at this time, however you won't get back alot of what you paid for it- Their number is 1-407-854-0860, for any one that is interested-

There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding whether there are sanctions on the rial. RialExpress who seems to be one of the larger sellers states that its legal to sell as a nuismatic item but not as currency and stated they sell it as a nuismatic. They also were trying to explain something to the effect that the sanctions were on US finanical institutiions and not companies. Id dont know what the real deal is but that's what they told my friend who inquired
