WE ALL KNOW THAT IT IS A HOLIDAY IN IRAQ BUT IT IS STRANGE TO SEE THE CBI GOING UP & DOWN , BUT I LIKE IT

Does everyone remember Delta saying "when you see the CBI go down, that will be it"??
Do you also remember him saying that it has happened in the past that the CBI has opened on a Saturday under certain circumstances??? afterchild

For the record, I have constantly tried to access my Warka online account for the last three days -- no access! It doesn't make sense that the online system would not work even during a holiday. This Labor Day I will still be able to access my US account online even though the bank is closed. I hope this means RV under way

Denomination of Iraqi Currency Close to Completion

The denomination of the Iraqi currency reached its final stages as the study and draft resolution reached the Cabinet after being sent by Iraq Central Bank. Iraq Central Bank said that it won’t only delete the zeros but it will also change Iraq monetary structure in order to provide bigger currencies. According to this project coins will appear again in the Iraqi currency, as for the banknotes the Central Bank will recourse to international institutions to print them.
The new currency will be printed in 3 languages including the Kurdish and it will include pictures that represent the Iraqi civilization.
Since a while Central Bank tries to pass this project. The Central Bank stresses that this change will not affect the buying capacity of the Iraqi dinar and its influence is only restricted on the organizational things and it aims to decrease the huge volume of currencies in Iraq.

well i hope he is right. Delta also said that he saw the rate on Iraqi TV several weeks ago..but i hope this is it!

I just checked out cbi.iq and had no problems getting into the site and browsing around. Rate and currency auctions have not been updated since 8/29, but we have seen them do this before, bplus they are having their EID Holiday.

I've been trying to access the CBI site - http://www.cbi.iq - for a couple of hours now to no avail.

I keep receiving the message "Could not connect"

I tried using 2 different browsers - Firefox and IE

It could be my computer, but I've had no troubles getting other sites up.

My wife told me that it was a plot against me personally and that everyone else's link was working but mine.

The cbi.iq site you referenced is correct. It has been loading slow for me today, but it is loading. I did get one connection error, but it's up and running.. Not sure if you just saw Okie's post on another thread, but he's calling the activation of the RV has started as of right now. Hope he's right.. He can't keep missing date and rate so often.. The boards were brutal on him yesterday. Go check out the thread and have a great day.

He is still saying soon that's a long way from a date and rate. Finally caught on. As we all agree no one knows the exact date and rate, so why was he trying so hard?

Oh well today's post from Okie was a good one though.

I have no problem with my internet connection either. I just tried, at 7:50pmCST, to connect to the CBI, but was unable to. I tried with my windows computer and my mac computer. Let's hope this is positive for us.

It's 6:10PST and I cannot get on cbi.iq. I have been on cbi.iq probably 6-7 times today and got on with no problems. Hummm..

The news was from September 3 on page one of the post. Did you go back a page?
t the top right of the post are pages 1 and 2 click the 1 to go back.

There were a lot of reports of the CBI site running slow or not allowing access during that time. I tried it myself and experienced slowness and no access at various times. One time it opened and had an entirely new look, but today it is back to the old style, at least for what I noticed on the front page.
