My Mother's memorial is coming up on August 20th, just a few days away.... I need to be there but I'm really not sure how I'm going to swing it as I'm more behind with my bills than I realized. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to obtain the money? I guess there are the usual means but just in case someone has a good idea, let me know. Appreciate it!

The one you really need to speak with is the big dog himself -Tony.  But he seems to be MIA at the moment. The Tweet mentioned meetings of a sensitive nature.  My guess is that Tony probably spent Friday hunkered down with his attorney trying to figure out a plan to delay his reporting to prison for as long as possible.  After all, the sentencing date should be on the docket any day now.  Maybe they got word of the date yesterday.


But enough of Tony's problems.  You have enough to worry about yourself.  No doubt that you'll be able to attend the memorial because you came to the right place to ask for ideas!  TNT! 



Your fellow TNTers are there to help.  Positive thinking, Gofundme, begging from members of your church are all great ideas, but my favorite suggestions come from TNT member Imperium.



1. get a job.


2. rob a bank.


3. don't go to your mothers memorial.


What a strange thread. It's borderline weird. We're a community of mostly desperate people... in need of paying mortgages, credit cards, student loans, feeding & clothing children... and your asking for advice from this crowd of suffering people?



Is there some hidden agenda that maybe someone will take up a collection for you?

I'm glad their are a few that posts news, thats truly giving back...opposed to the ones who have nothing better to do then cut down

It seems most get more attention out of cutting down others instead of providing their opinion on the outcome of this investment with proven, research, breakdowns and facts

Hmm ... I have to admit these people scare me, it's thought of them witha sharp impliment or behind the wheel of a car sends shivers down my spine ...

Amorphous silica is considered to have low toxicity, but prolonged inhalation causes changes to the lungs.[22] Diatomaceous earth is mostly amorphous silica, but contains some crystalline silica, especially in the saltwater forms.[23] In a study of workers, those exposed to natural DE for over 5 years had no significant lung changes, while 40% of those exposed to the calcined form had developed pneumoconiosis.[24] Today's common D.E. formulations are safer to use as they are predominantly made up of amorphous silica and contain little or no crystalline silica.[25]

The crystalline silica content of D.E. is regulated in the United States by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and there are guidelines for the maximum amounts allowable in the product (1%) and in the air near the breathing zone of workers (6 mg/m3).[25]

In the 1930s, long term occupational exposure among workers in the cristobalite D.E. industry who were exposed to high levels of airborne crystalline silica over decades were found to have an increased risk of silicosis.[26]

Today, workers are required to use respiratory-protection measures when concentrations of silica exceed allowable levels.

I use diatomaceousearth in my pool filter.  It makes for a very clear pool !

Yes ... it is also used to kill slugs, nematodes and other critters ... and is know to cause silicosis if inhaled too much.
