Jester's Place:

[Jester] HI YA AND HAPPY FRIDAY MODS, PEEPS, LURKERS, AND CRITTERS...

[Jester] AND THANK GOODNESS THAT WEEK IS OVER.... HAHAHAHA

[Jester] SO WHAT'S THE SKINNY TODAY?

[kristi] Jester I know you like fun Fridays, but I have spent literally several hours trying to search out more on a tax attorney and escrow accounts. All I am finding are mortgage escrows.

[Jester] kristi I DO NOT DOUBT THAT... ESCROW ACCOUNTS ARE USUALLY USED FOR REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS...

[kristi] I am in CA and wondering if attorneys do that?
....

[Jester] MOST ATTORNEYS HAVE A TRUST ACCOUNT... AN INTEREST ON LAWYERS TRUST ACCOUNT OR IOLTA ACCOUNT... MOST LAWYERS HAVE THEM....

[Jester] NOT AN ESCROW ACCOUNT... THAT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT... NOT SURE WHERE YOU GOT THAT INFO....

[Jester] FOR INFORMATION LOOK AT HERE... http://en.wikipedia.org/ ••• Accounts AND HERE... http://www.iolta.org/

[Jester] OPERATES IN EVERY STATE..

[Jester] HOPE THAT HELPS...

[kristi] I thought you mentioned that last night. Oops, must have been someone else. They said they were having their money sent straight to a trust account first and then making their entities to not trigger a tax until it hit my accounts.

[kristi] Jester I meant escrow account. Paymaster escrow to escrow

[Jester] kristi I DID TALK ABOUT THAT... BUT I DID NOT SAY ESCROW ACCOUNT I SAID TRUST ACCOUNT... JUST LIKE YOU JUST NOW SAID....

[Jester] I HAVE NO IDEA WHY YOU ARE RESEARCHING ESCROW ACCOUNTS.... NOT THE SAME THING...

[kristi] Jester oh. So your own trust, not an attorney's trust account.

[Jester] kristi YOU MAY LIKE TO LOOK AT THE LINKS I POSTED... IT IS THE ATTORNEYS ACCOUNT... BUT IT IS A TRUST ACCOUNT... NOT AN ESCROW ACCOUNT...

[kristi] Ok, thanks. I will.

[mentoredlife] Jester I remember a while ago you mentioned to keep an eye on Deutsche Bank. Saw this today. Is this another piece of the puzzle or just another indicator of banks being over leveraged.
http://www.dw.de/deutsche-bank-fails-us-stress-test/a-18309245

[kristi] Jester I remember Grunt saying to keep an eye out for the Deutsche Bank

[Jester] mentoredlife I SUPPOSE IT DEPENDS ON WHICH PLAN GOES DOWN... THEY ARE NOT IN GOOD SHAPE IN THE US... THIS IS ONLY THE US PORTION OF THINGS... NOT SURE HOW THAT ADDS UP OVERALL...

[jojill] Jester with the Iraqi delay in the rv is it still tracking 3-4 days like you indicated earlier?

[Jester] jojill WELL WE ARE NOT GETTING A NEW DATE... JUST TO SIT TIGHT...

[jojill] Jester ok thanks

[alamojoe] I read an article today at Simon Black talking about UK and New Zealand signing up with China's new Banking system. To get away from US. Fed

[SOLDIEROFCHRIST ] Jester I saw an interesting post on the Brics post about the UK joining a China led investment bank.... could they be opening their eyes

[Jester] SOLDIEROFCHRIST JUST HEDGING THEIR BET IN MY OPINION... WHY NOT? THE FENCE SITTING CONTINUES BUT IF YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH BOTH SIDES THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PICK...

[kristi] Jester have you had any TRN sightings?

[SOLDIEROFCHRIST ] Jester interesting spin and makes so much sense

[SOLDIEROFCHRIST ] Jester that way whatever happens they would not.

[Jester] SOLDIEROFCHRIST NOT SURE WHAT THAT MEANS... BUT WHEN YOU SEE MAJOR WESTERN BANKS SIGNING ON TO THE ASIAN INFRASTRUCTURE BANK... INDICATES THAT PLAN B IS A DISTINCT POSSIBILITY AND THAT THE USD LOSING RESERVE STATUS MAY BE PRETTY SERIOUS.......

[Aunt B] Jester makes me wonder if someone will see through the UK

[Jester] Aunt B SEE WHAT? IT IS A WISE MOVE IN MY OPINION...

[Jester] OKAY I JUST REALIZED YOU DID NOT BRING THE LINK AND HALF THE PEEPS IN HERE PROBABLY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT... HOLD ON AND LET ME BRING EVERYONE UP DO DATE...

[Jester] THEN WHY IT IS IMPORTANT...

[Jester] I WAS GIVING EVERYONE A CHANCE TO ASK DINAR LAND QUESTIONS BUT THAT SEEMS TO HAVE DIED DOWN... SO... LET'S DO THAT...

[Jester] UK snubs US to join China-led Asian bank

[Jester] Overlooking US censure, the UK has announced its decision to join China’s Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, becoming the first “major western country” to apply for membership.

[Jester] “I am delighted to announce today that the UK will be the first major Western country to become a prospective founder member of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, which has already received significant support in the region,” said UK Finance Minister George Osborne on Thursday.

[Jester] “Joining the AIIB at the founding stage will create an unrivaled opportunity for the UK and Asia to invest and grow together,” he added.

[Jester] In a landmark achievement, 21 Asian nations including China and India in October last year signed on the creation of a new infrastructure investment bank which would rival the World Bank. The new Bank has a capital target of more than $100 billion.

[Jester] NOTE THE IMPORTANCE OF THAT.. RIVAL OF THE WORLD BANK... THE WEST CONTROLLED BANK OF THE SAME DESIGN...

[Jester] The governments of Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam signed on as founding members of the new Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing.

[Jester] “The UK will join discussions later this month with other founding members,” said a UK government statement on Thursday.

[Jester] Washington reacted to UK’s announcement by saying it is circumspect about whether the AIIB would have sufficiently high standards on governance and environmental and social safeguards.

[Jester] “We hope and expect that the U.K. will use its voice to push for adoption of high standards,” said Patrick Ventrell, spokesman for President Barack Obama’s National Security Council

[Jester] GO FIGURE... THE BIG QUESTION IS... WHY IS THE US NOT TAKING A PROACTIVE APPROACH AND WORKING TOGETHER WITH THEM... HMMM...

[Jester] The AIIB will extend China’s financial reach and compete not only with the World Bank, but also with the Asian Development Bank, which is heavily dominated by Japan.

[Jester] China and other emerging economies, including BRICS, have long protested against their limited voice at other multilateral development banks, including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and Asian Development Bank (ADB).

[Jester] “Reports indicate that the US is pressuring Australia and South Korea not to join the AIIB. But as Hedley Bull, eminent late Oxford professor, once said, “people have friends but countries have only interests”, he adds.

[Jester] THERE IS MORE DETAIL IN THE ARTICLE... THAT IS THE CLIFF NOTE... ARTICLE LINK...   http://thebricspost.com/uk-snubs-us-to-join-china-led-asian-bank/#.VQOlJmfwuP9

[Jester] THIS JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU THAT IF THE US CANNOT CONTROL IT THEY WILL TRY TO HAMPER IT...

[Jester] AND AS I HAVE SAID MANY TIMES... THE REST OF THE WORLD IS SICK OF IT...

[Jester] THIS IS INDICATIVE THAT PLAN B IS CERTAINLY UNDERWAY... THE HANDWRITING IS ON THE WALL... AND NOW OTHER COUNTRIES TRADITIONALLY WEST CONTROLLED ARE CONSIDERING THAT IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO BE FRIENDLY TO THE ONES THAT MIGHT ACTUALLY BE IN CHARGE WHEN THE DUST SETTLES..

[Jester] ANOTHER INDICATION FROM A COUPLE DAYS AGO...

[Jester] Putin signs law ratifying BRICS Bank

[Jester] Following the Duma, or Russian Parliament, President Vladimir Putin has signed the ratification of a law that sanctions Russian participation in the $100 billion BRICS Bank on Monday.

[Jester] The BRICS bank, Putin has said, “will become one of the largest multilateral financial development institutions in the world”.

[Jester] “The bank and the Currency Pool, with combined resources of 200 billion dollars, lay the foundation for coordinating a macroeconomic policy between our nations,” Putin said during the 6th BRICS Summit in Brazil.

[Jester] The BRICS Bank launched last year will fund infrastructure projects in Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, and challenge the dominance of the Western-led World Bank and the IMF.

[Jester] SO ANOTHER BANK OF THE SAME NATURE ON THE RISE... THE REST OF THE ARTICLE IS HERE...

http://thebricspost.com/putin-signs-law-ratifying-brics-bank/#.VQOmzmfwuP9

[Jester] NOW... INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH IN A ROUND ROBIN OF PEEPS HEDGING THEIR BETS...

[Jester] THE IMF MAY BE FEELING OUT OF SORTS WITH ALL THIS...

[Jester] China-IMF talks underway to endorse yuan as global reserve currency

[Jester] China is pushing for the International Monetary Fund to endorse the Chinese yuan as a global reserve currency alongside the dollar and euro.

[Jester] A senior Chinese central bank official said Thursday that the country is “actively communicating” with the IMF on the possibility of including the yuan, or RMB, in the basket of the Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).

[Jester] Including the yuan in the SDR system would allow the IMF to recognize the ascent of the world’s second-biggest economy while aiding China’s attempts to diminish the dollar’s dominance in global trade and finance.

[Jester] “We hope the IMF can fully take into account the progress of RMB internationalization, to include RMB into the basket underlining the SDR in foreseeable, near future,” said Yi Gang, vice governor of the People’s Bank of China.

[Jester] In late 2015, the IMF will conduct its next twice-a-decade review of the basket of currencies its members can count toward their official reserves.

[Jester] THIS IS AN INTERESTING COMMENT OF NOTE THAT IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE IMF YOU CAN ONLY USE CERTAIN CURRENCIES....

[Jester] SORT OF A BACKHANDED WAY TO DECIDE ON HOW YOU CAN INVEST IN THE IMF...

[Jester] NOW... THIS ALSO MEANS THAT CHINA IS OPENLY CAMPAIGNING TO TAKE OVER THAT PART OF WHATEVER THEY CAN TOO... HAHAHAHA...

[hoot2602] Jester Do you think the SDR will become an increasingly important instrument?

[Jester] SDRs are international foreign exchange reserve assets. Allocated to nations by the IMF, an SDR represents a claim to foreign currencies for which it may be exchanged in times of need.

[Jester] Although denominated in US dollars, the nominal value of an SDR is derived from a basket of currencies, with, specifically, a fixed amount of Japanese yen, US dollars, British pounds and euros, without RMB.

[Jester] THERE IS SOME MORE DETAIL IN THE ARTICLE BUT THAT IS THE CLIFF NOTES...... LINK HERE..

http://thebricspost.com/china-imf-talks-underway-to-endorse-yuan-as-global-reserve-currency/#.VQOofWfwuP9

[Jester] SO ANYWAY... THAT SHOULD BRING EVERYONE UP TO DATE ON WHAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT...

[kristi] Jester Part of me thinks they couldn't be worse than us, which is a horrible thing for me to think let alone say. I hope ethics and morals comes back to play in the US

[alamojoe] So competition between these world banks maybe good? No

[SOLDIEROFCHRIST ] Kristi it might take to hit rock bottom for that to happen or in this case plan b lol

[LuCkYb] Bankers have been known to create war for less WW1 WW2 Korea Vietnam .. Desert storm

[Jester] alamojoe THE MAIN THING THESE DEVELOPMENT BANKS ARE SET UP TO DO IS ELIMINATE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES FROM HAVING TO USE THE WORLD BANK OR IMF TO DO WHAT HAS HISTORICALLY BEEN DONE... THE MACHINATIONS OF THE US AND WORLD BANK AND IMF ARE WELL KNOW TO BE USED FOR ECONOMIC TAKEOVER OF DEVELOPING COUNTRIES SO THAT THE US MAINTAINS CONTROL OF THEIR RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT FOR THE CORPORATIONS...

[Jester] TO MAKE THAT A LITTLE CLEARER... THE NEW DEVELOPMENT BANKS LIKE THE AIIB AND THE BRICS WILL TAKE AWAY POWER OF THE WORLD BANK AND IMF TO DO SUCH THINGS IN THE FUTURE...

[hoot2602] Jester Hum, sort of eliminates our "economic hitman" approach

[alamojoe] So US will not be expected to play well with others. WW

[jam777] Jester ... I am having a hard time believing the BRICS and AIIB will have a major impact on World Bank and IMF control in the near future ... gonna take some time ?

[Jester] jam777 IT WILL BE IMMEDIATE UPON RATIFICATION... THE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES WILL HAVE A CHOICE... SIMPLE AS THAT...

[Jester] WOULD BE THE SAME CHOICE YOU WOULD HAVE IF A NEW BANK OPENED UP IN YOUR TOWN... INSTANT ACCESS TO A DIFFERENT SET OF SERVICES...

[grace2beme] Good for them, bad for IMF.

[tessamae] Jester I just pray that there will be checks and balances even in these new entities....because with money around the people in authority positions begin to lean to the dark side.

[jam777] Jester ... sooooo Iraq can chose to RI or whatever and not deal with US/IMF/WB ???

[alfonse] Jester Will AIIB and BRICS have better "terms" on their loans?

[Jester] THE US IS WELL KNOWN TO DO THIS.... HOW ABOUT THIS ARTICLE AS AN EXAMPLE...

[Jester] Is there anything in the world the USA is afraid of?

[Goose] Jester their hold on us

[hoot2602] Jester Yes, losing control...and it sounds like we've done a great job of doing just that

[grace2beme] Competition

[Jester] NOW... KEEP IN MIND... A LITTLE PRELUDE TO THAT... REPORTED EARLIER THAT RUSSIA AND GERMANY BROKERED A PEACE CEASE FIRE IN UKRAINE...

[Jester] Last week the US House of Representatives introduced new legislation, authorizing $1 billion in military aid to Kiev, including weaponry. The document allows the Head of the White House to supply arms to Ukraine. The Ukrainian authorities made up a list of the necessary weaponry and sent it to Washington. It was announced by the President Poroshenko's advisor Biryukov. According to him, the negotiations in this field have not been ceased. They are being held at the level of Minister of Defense.

[Jester] "How strong is Obama in his intention to help Ukraine with the weaponry?"

[Jester] "The legislation is very dangerous, because if it is signed, the law by President Obama, not only would he be arming the Ukrainian army, but also all these neo-Nazi paramilitary groups. It's clearly provided for in the legislation. So, this could be very dangerous, you should know. Azov brigade of Right Sector and many neo-Nazi groups running around Ukraine. And the legislation would provide for all of them to be armed, not just the Ukrainian army. And this would obviously require US trainers in Ukraine. And, as you know, starting in March, Obama says he's sending 300 trainers over there. So, I'm afraid if to start arming not just the Ukrainian army, but also these neo-Nazi groups and with US trainers over there, this would be a significant escalation of the dispute. Right now we have the Minsk-2 agreement and I think all records should be made by all parties to show up this agreement to produce a genuine ceasefire at both sides and the withdrawal of heavy weapons including artillery. I know the latest report today from the reputable even Western press services is that the Russian speakers are starting to withdraw their heavy artillery. But, so far, the government of Ukraine says they are not going to do it. So, I think it is quite serious. President Obama should be putting pressure on the Ukrainian government to live up to the Minsk-2 agreement."

[Jester] "So, we can say that there is such a goal to ruin the armistice in such a way?"

[Jester] "I think the armistice is a way to go, not arming the Ukrainian army, and these neo-Nazi paramilitary groups I know this, we're seeing Secretary of State Kerry making a very belligerent and insulting statement yesterday in his testimony in the Senate. By comparison, President Putin made a statement yesterday of ruling out what he called cataclysmic war with Ukraine. So, I would hope that the Obama Administration would get behind the Minsk-2 agreement. As you know, Obama was not at Minsk-2, it's not clear what the ultimate position will be, but I think that's the one hope we have - to calm down the situation in Ukraine and perhaps produce some type of negotiated settlement between both sides, that would avoid further definite destruction and a major escalation of a military conflict."

[Jester] "In Russia they say that the US will put Poroshenko out of the way and bring to power Turchinov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council with unprecedented authorities. What do you think?"

[Jester] "It's clear after the fiasco in Debaltseve that Poroshenko, his position is tenuous. Remember, he's the United States' man. So, he could be put out, I don't know what will happen there, but, I think if anyone were to take his place, it would be Yatsenyuk. Remember, going back to the secretly recorded conversation by the neo-conservative Nuland, with the US Ambassador. They said that Yatsenyuk was their man. So, I suspect he would be next on America's list if Poroshenko would fall. I don't know what will happen here, I guess we will find out in the next several days for sure, but Debaltseve was clearly a fiasco for Poroshenko and calls in question his judgment."

[Jester] AND HERE IS THE KICKER...

[Jester] "And what do common American citizens think about the events in Ukraine?"

[Jester] "I regret to report that the US news media here, the mainstream news media for the past year has been doing nothing, but war maundering, vilifying Russia and demonizing President Putin. This is going on now continuously for a year without better, without sources, almost no voices are being allowed on the mainstream news media to contradict this propaganda. I haven't seen that here since the early days of the Reagan Administration since back in the early 1980s. It's pretty bad, and as you saw this latest public opinion poll put up by Gallup showed an increase in hostility against Russia, according to this public opinion poll. Remember, the public opinion poll, if you read this small print, was only of 837 people. We have 330 mln people over here. So, you have to be very careful even with those polls. But, it doesn't surprise me after one year they have just sustained war mongering and propaganda against Russia and the insulting comparisons of President Putin to Hitler, even by largely responsible people. It's no surprise that the American people are now adopting a fairly negative attitude towards Russia over Ukraine."

[Jester] "The US Army commander in Europe, Lieutenant General Frederick Ben Hodges claimed that the city of Mariupol is a Black Sea port, while in fact it is situated on the coast of the Sea of Azov. What suggests such lack of information? Is it mere ignorance or NATO isn't going to wage war in Ukraine and they are just talking about it?"

[Jester] MORE ON THAT IN A SECOND... I WILL FINISH THIS FIRST...

[Jester] "Well, you can have two alternatives to that. Unfortunately, so many Americans know so little about geography, even at the highest levels of the Government, and don't care all that much about it. The second alternative is that, you know, this is a deliberate insult. I really don't know, they do the same thing over there in Persian Gulf, Arabian Sea, etc. They want to insult you, so they change the names around. So, I really don't know how to characterize that one way with the other. But I regret to report, so many Americans know very little about geography, because, you know, we are an isolated continent here, all by ourselves, and pay little attention to you, people in Europe, with all the wars going back and forth across Europe for centuries."

[Jester] "And how do you think, the fall in oil prices - is it a planned action with the goal to break Russia down economically?"

[Jester] "It's clear the United States is waging economic warfare against Russia with its all sanctions, pushing European sanctions and then agreeing with the Saudis to drive down the price of oil, now to the level that it is about 60 dollars a barrel. So, it's clear, this is all coordinated to put pressure on Russia to capitulate to what it can be called a neo-Nazi coup in Kiev. I personally do not see Russia being in a position to stand down here, I think this is an existential threat to Russia, what we see in Ukraine with neo-Nazis coming to power in Kiev and these neo-Nazi paramilitary groups all over Western Ukraine. After all, Russia suffered in WW2 from the Germans, from the Nazis, I just don't see Russia really standing down here.

[Jester] "I do see so far President Putin bending over backward to try to produce a solution that would preserve the independent Ukraine with rights for the Russian speakers, including federalization. But right now I don't see any evidence that the US government has changed its policy. I do think we've seen the German Chancellor Merkel and also the French President Hollande realizing the dangers of the situation, which is why they pushed the Minsk-2 to try to head off Obama sending weapons over to Ukraine. But whether this will prevail, I just do not know. Secretary Kerry's remarks are not very promising - he called Russians liars. At this nature I think this is a very undiplomatic behavior, threats, bullying and accusations by the US Secretary of State. By comparison, your Foreign Minister Lavrov is a professional diplomat, he does not resort to flexing accusations. So, that is not a good sign of Secretary of State. Kerry said he will be making a recommendation of President Obama the next few days about sending weapons to Ukraine. I certainly hope they would not be sent, but we just don't know now, we're really at a critical turning point. Will there be peace in Ukraine, or further military escalation, I can't say."

[hoot2602] Jester Russia is the bad guy

[Jester] hoot2602 THAT ANSWER YOUR COMMENT? I DON'T THINK SO...

[Jester] "Should Russia cooperate with the US in fight against ISIS? Isn't it bargaining with the US on Ukraine? Bargaining should be conducted, as Russia sets itself up as a superpower, while the US don't want to give up the positions they gained in the 90s. So, what should be the subject of an auction?"

[Jester] "Well, I think it's becoming increasingly clear that it was the US and its goal for allies that arm equipment supplied and set up ISIS, and this is serving the purposes of the US. So, Russia cooperating, I guess you can if you want to, but I suspect your intelligence agencies over there can reach the same conclusions. Clearly, if the US want to make progress on different issues in the world, they will certainly have to cooperate with Russia. I think that's very clear. But, unfortunately, the US wants Ukraine no matter what. You have to understand that the forces mobilized against Russia here in the US are twofold. First, you have all the neo-liberals headed by Zbigniew Brzezinski. Brzezinski was Obama's mentor at Columbia University when Obama was a student there, and then he ran Obama's foreign affairs and defense campaign in 2008, and has staffed his Administration with his proteges in powers up to including Obama's top Russian expert at the National Security Council.

[Jester] OH REALLY? YES... WE HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THAT FOR A WHILE...

[Jester] "So, you have the entire neo-liberal wing up the Democratic Party pretty much mobilized against Russia. And the second very powerful faction are the neo-conservatives, and they too are typified by Nuland who is a neo-conservative, and her husband is a prominent neo-conservative. And they too are mobilized against Russia, so there's hardly any opposition among the American foreign policy to what is going on here and the news media just falls into lie together with what these two factions say. So, if you have all the neo-liberals against Russia and all the neo-conservatives against Russia, it squeezes out almost anyone else trying to oppose the policies that are put into place, and I'm afraid, we stole Ukraine fair and square in a coup against Yanukovych and we're going to keep it no matter what, and if Russia doesn't like it, they are no longer a superpower, they no longer can really oppose our will, and they just gonna have to take it and deal with it. I think it's a very foolish policy, that is not really aware of the historical realities of Russia, and the history here in the Second World War, in the First World War, and the existential importance of Ukraine to Russia. But there it is, that is what we are dealing with, and you know both sides of the Atlantic here, you people in Russia and those of us here in America who favor a peaceful resolution at this field in Ukraine, which I think is possible. But right now I am not sure anyone over here in the US, in the government is working toward that objective. It only appears to me that we see Merkel and Hollande and a few of the Europeans working in that direction at this strive to head off an escalation here."
[hoot2602] Jester Wow, when did you write this dissertation?

[Jester] GOOD FOR THEM... TAKING A STANCE AGAINST THE US HEGEMONY IS HARD TO DO..

[Jester] "And where could be held the new Yalta conference on the delimitation of areas of control?"

[Jester] "Well, I think what we need know is an immediate ceasefire in place as call for by Minsk-2 to withdraw heavy weapons, which the separatists have said they are doing, the Ukrainian government said they are not doing, and then sitting down in negotiating over federalization for the Russian speakers in Ukraine. President Putin says he supports federalization, and it makes perfect sense to me. If Kiev doesn't like the word, well fine, you can call it something else, but certainly lawyers can come up with a constitutional arrangement, so that Russian speakers in Ukraine can have genuine autonomy to run their affairs, to protect the language, educate their children, the Russian orthodox religion, and their customs and habits. I live in the State of Illinois, in the USA, we are a federal state, and most of my daily life is regulated by the State of Illinois and not by the US federal government. So, if it's good enough for the USA, seems to me it should be good enough for Ukraine.

[Jester] "And I think the US government should be supporting federalization in Ukraine. But right now they are not, and it doesn't make any sense at all. If we are a federal state here in the US, why can there not be a federalized arrangement in Ukraine? You can call it something else if you want to, the lawyers can always work it out. Take a look at our Constitution over here. If they want to, there's Germany, a federal state over there. There are different models that could be used. If there's good faith by the US backing this type of negotiations, that could be taken care of."

[Jester] INSTEAD THEY WILL LIKE TO KEEP THE CONFLICT GOING FOR SOME REASON... NOT HARD TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THAT REASON IS...

[Jester] "We could say that Europe is afraid that war can spread to Europe, Russia is afraid of economic chaos, Ukraine is afraid of everything, and what are the US afraid of?"

[Jester] "I regret to say, it doesn't appear they are afraid of anything. You know, they are talking about nuclear weapons over there, which is just pure insanity, and they are prepared to stand down Russia no matter what it takes. The US government believes that if there is escalation here, they would be able to dominate Russia every stage of the escalation and that eventually Russia will capitulate. I even heard that statement made by President Obama that the US has better conventional weapons than Russia, which is pretty absurd, but this is the advice he's getting. Remember the Obama's no great expert on foreign affairs and defense policy, he was behind me at Harvard law school, we went to the same program there. His area of expertise is civil rights law, so basically he does what his advisors tell him to do, and right now he is the top advisor on Russia in the White House, is a Brzezinski protege.
[Jester] "And I personally believe that it is Brzezinski calling the shots here. I went through the same Ph.D. program in Harvard that produced Brzezinski before me. As you know, he is an expatriate Pole, from Poland, hates Russia, Russians with a passion, wants to use Ukraine against Russia for the purpose of colour revolution and to break the Russian Federation of into its constituent units. And I regret to say this is the type of advice Obama is getting from Brzezinski and his proteges in the White House today as we speak. And now this new Secretary Defense Carter seems to be going along the same direction too. His predecessor Hagel, I knew Hagel, a far more responsible reflective person was not on board with the Ukraine policy, but now, it looks like Carter is. So, it's a very dangerous situation. I really don't know where the voices of moderation are here in the US government. You know, Obama certainly not calling me up, even though he knows well who I am. I regret to say, I just don't see any moderating forces, secretary Kerry at times sounds I would say irrational if not demented. So, it's a very dangerous situation over here."

[Jester] ISN'T THAT TRAGICALLY INTERESTING...

[Jester] Secretary general: NATO does not plan to interfere in east Ukraine conflict

[Jester] LONDON, March 14. /TASS/. NATO does not plan to interfere in the conflict in east Ukraine, the alliance’s secretary general, Jens Stoltenberg, said Friday.

[Jester] "Ukraine is not a member of NATO, so there is a difference between Ukraine and NATO members, because the security guarantee is for NATO allies," Stoltenberg told Sky News.

[Jester] "The most important thing now is to support the implementation of the Minsk agreements, meaning respecting the ceasefire, making sure that all... weapons are withdrawn from the frontline and to make sure that happens we need proper monitoring," he said.

[Jester] HOPEFULLY THE US AS A NATO MEMBER WILL BE A PARTY TO FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH THIS...

[hoot2602] Jester What does the UN say?

[ifly] NATO used to be an alter ego of the US. Looks like that has changed

[Jester] REST OF THE ARTICLE IS HERE... http://tass.ru/en/world/782758

[Jester] NOW... THIS IS INTERESTING THAT NATO MAKES THAT CALL... EVERYONE IN THE WORLD IS INTERESTED IN HELPING TO CALM THIS SITUATION EXCEPT THE DANG US... WHEN ARE THE SHEEPLE GOING TO WAKE UP AND MAKE SOME DANG NOISE...

[alamojoe] Just hope US doesn't throw another stick in the fire

[hoot2602] Jester It would help to have a press that covers the whole story, not just the party line

[Jester] SO... THAT IS PRETTY MUCH THE BIG PICTURE NEWS FOR THE DAY... IF YOU MISSED THE START... IT IS WORTH PICKING UP IN THE FORUM WHEN THE MODS GET IT WRAPPED UP AND READY TO GO....

[ifly] Jester you post on fb I'll share.

[Hoosier Girl] Jester When the freebies are cut off they will rise up... Hahahaha

[Jester] ifly THE ISSUE WITH PUTTING ARTICLES LIKE THIS ON FB IS PEOPLE DO NOT SEE THE BIG PICTURE AND HOW TO PUT ALL THE PIECES TOGETHER FROM INDIVIDUAL ARTICLES... SO DOING IT LIKE THIS HELPS BETTER I THINK...

[alamojoe] I for one was just enlightened

[ifly] Exactly my thought, I have no idea how to get this across as a 30 sec sound bite

[Jester] ifly THIS IS NOT THE INSTANT GRATIFICATION THAT EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR... IT TAKES TIME TO RESEARCH AND LEARN IT... THE BIG PICTURE IS NOT EASY... YOU HAVE TO WANT IT BAD... HAHAHAHA

[Jester] WELL I HOPE IT MAKES SENSE.... I KNOW IT IS A LOT OF INFORMATION... SOME PEOPLE WILL LIKE TO BE SPOON FED.. IF THAT IS THE CASE THEN IT CANNOT BE DONE... ALL I CAN DO IS TRY TO GET YOU TO THINK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF...

[Jester] HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE EVENING... WILL SEE YOU TOMORROW..

Yea that Ukraine article comes from Pravda, the Russian state controlled news service. No bias problems there .... Kinda like reading Al-Jazzera for news about Israel.
