BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister announced the appearance of Mohammed Saleh, that the government is bound to activate all economic laws adopted earlier and did not apply so far, including customs tariffs and consumer protection and the protection of the national product laws.

Saleh added for (IMN) that "there is a tendency of the government to revitalize national industry and strengthening of all aspects." He pointed out that "one of the priorities of government approach is the application and activating the economic laws."

The House of Representatives has been initiated customs tariff and the protection of the national product and consumer protection laws, but did not apply during the last stage, and disable attributed to lack of readiness of infrastructure at border crossing points to the application of laws.

Saleh pointed out that "reducing expenses that the federal government began adopting does not mean financially austere as it is to stop the waste of some unnecessary expenses."

He pointed out that "the government is seeking to reduce unproductive expenditures, which have a great many doors, and you will stop the process of unproductive expenditures significant impact in improving the Iraqi economy by reducing the size of the fiscal deficit."

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and adopted a series of reform measures to combat financial and administrative corruption in state institutions, to reduce this phenomenon, which has become a major threat to the country and its wealth is not less dangerous than terrorism.

[tlm724] that the government is bound to activate all economic laws adopted earlier and did not apply so far, including customs tariffs and consumer protection and the protection of the national product laws.

[tlm724] "one of the priorities of government approach is the application and activating the economic laws."

[BondLady] yes they passed some laws but couldn't open them cause it needed other laws to go with them to make them work right

[BondLady] like for example, the tarriff tax law they couldn't fully do that 1 without product protection or the citizens protection from buying shoddy goods to protecting Iraq's own industries when it came to importing and exporting. So they had to do all the economic laws because so many of these laws are connected to each other in some way or form

[BondLady] so you couldn't just activate 1 with out activating most of them because its like spokes on a bicycle wheel you take a couple of those spokes out and the wheel will wobble and cause harm and accidents, so you must have a WHOLE wheel to make it work properly

[tlm724] yes ma'am I think Saleh advising Abadi on all these economic laws is a huge bonus for us. Saleh KNOWS about how to get them passed

[tlm724] not only that but he also knows how Shabibi wanted things done to open the doors for an increase in the value of the dinar !

[BondLady] yes Shabibi told them for years these laws had to be done before he would change the rates, they had to have more than just oil to feed the budgets and economy.

Iraq slow played them all because of the stupid quota system. No matter how desperate to get these laws passed to move Iraq forward to make a better life for the whole of Iraq's people these selfish greedy pukes wouldn't allow these important things to be passed if they didn't get their way with their wants whether they were legal wants and needs or not

[BondLady] selfishness an greed an power is all they thought of, not all them some really did try but when your a few fighting for right against a ton who only care for self some just give up as fighting a loosing battle.

Abadis new gov changed that and renewed hope that things could work for the betterment of the people. But they still have to struggle getting the right people who do want Iraq to succeed in office and get rid of the selfish ones who only want to save themselves from their deeds done and wrong doings in the past or only care about themselves

[RCS1947] BondLady do you think Saleh is being primed to be the next CBI gov?

[BondLady] theres a good chance of that RCS but he may not be either he may be just for Abadi to tell him whether the current CBI gov is doing the right stuff or not or if Saleh sees any kinds of wrong doings done by the CBI to let him know so he can act accordingly kinda like a spy within type thing but out in the open

 [RCS1947] ty

[tlm724] if I was Abadi I would want someone just like Saleh in my pocket, sometimes we need to surround ourselves with people with more expertise then ourselves  Wink

[BondLady] I have one more thing to add timmy. Abadi is firing others too and replacing them not just in economic dept's. but military too.

USA told Abadi also get rid of commanders etc that will only support either the previous PM Maliki or Baath supporters etc also as to stay off a military coop like what happened in Egypt and thats why you saw Abadi shut down Malikis headquarters,

that put a stop to any thoughts of that happening but to ensure it he replaced military commanders as well that were loyal to Maliki or the Baathist, now hes putting his foot down again with Maliki.

[BondLady] as maliki is still mad he's not PM and he takes trips....unauthorized trips....to provinces and beaches and moans about whats being done and what he did etc.. in the fight against terrorism saying him and his troops did all the same stuff being done now but he couldn't get any support like Abadis doing and getting

[BondLady] so now Abadis about to do something about Maliki speaking out of turn or trying to undermine what abadis trying to do

[BondLady] so someone may get fired over this last lil speech Maliki did a few days ago in a diff province he didn't have gov approval to do. USA says someone is doing wrong fire them and it pretty much is that easy too but when you have as much support as Maliki does and did then you kinda have to handle things differently or face another battle on the ground within Iraq.

[tlm724] yes Maliki has to be handled with kid gloves to avoid a civil war

[BondLady]and allawis mad also, he's mad they haven't thrown out article 4 of the terrorism law an passed the amnesty lawand he's mad Alwani is about to be executed to for his crimes, maybe someone else's neck is on the line too for his BS he pulled to try and take down Malikis government

[tlm724] there has to be alot of dirt on him !

[BondLady] not throwing out the terrorism law will insure that too so I understand why Allawi's mad  he could be next. The amnesty law does need to be worked out that in itself is true but not the way Allawi wants it to free anyone who did wrong.

Same as art. 4 terrorism law it needs some tweaks to get it right but don't just throw it away and allow all these terrorist free rein. So thats why they haven't been done yet, major opposition as well as it should be, don't give these clowns the go ahead to do dirty deeds.

[BondLady] he freaking sold the blankets these poor people was supposed to get that was donated for the displaced for about 3500.00 to market shop owners, theres pics of them for sale in the markets and they were sold by Mutlaq to them depriving the poor of warmth at night in the cold desert.

He is a POS too and he needs to be punished for it too stealing 100's of thousands from their funds so he can play big shot.

[BondLady] most of Allawis bloc did all these kinds of things but many haven't been caught yet in the act. Lots of info coming in though so stay tuned justice may still be served on them all including Maliki  Wink
