Dearest Members and Guest Readers,

When reading this post, please know that I am not looking for sympathy, continue to read for the purpose of my message.

I am tired.

Some of you already know a bit about me and my life but most of you are unaware that I have had a rough year.

On top of having to close my office which meant a loss of much needed household income (which creates a great deal of stress), I have also had a very difficult year health wise.

I have also had several deaths/losses of family and friends this year.

My days have little or no time for me to catch my breath. This site alone has taken a lot of productive time out of my days and away from my family time.

In addition to trying to keep the site fresh all the time, I have a 20 year old daughter who has ongoing debilitating/challenging health issues who has had a bad turn in her condition. On top of that I am the sole care giver for a (difficult) aunt who has advanced Parkinson's and is in rapid decline and takes much of my time daily.

My point is - I have hit my wall. I need a break. I need to regenerate and re-energize.

My family and I are in need of some restful, quality time together so we will be taking a short vacation,from Tues. Nov 25th to Sat. Dec 6th.

I would like to be able to enjoy my time away without worrying about how things are going on the site. I don't want to spend my time wondering if it is sitting stagnant or if it is going down the toilette. I along with many of you have worked hard to build it from the 20 visits a day in 2012, to the 700 plus visits a day now. To have visits, you have to have fresh postings.

As those of you who frequent regularly have seen, I try to post a lot throughout the day. But, while I am gone, I will have NO access to computers, phones or any technology that will allow me to check in or post.

As I said earlier, I am not looking for sympathy, for I know that EVERYONE has battles they are dealing with in their lives. Instead, I am only asking for people to help take care of the site while I am gone. I am in extreme need of people who can bring the daily news, gurus and other posts for the different categories that we have while I am away (and hopefully continue, after my return).

I am hoping that many of you can help out so this isn't a burden to only a few. I am especially reaching out to our MOD's (though there are only a few of you) and our VIP'S. But, would also appreciate the help of all others who are willing Members and Guests alike. (it is easier to make topics and post when you are logged in as a member though)

It is important to keep the scroll fresh with the latest dinar info (guru and news) and any other topics of interest for the 700 plus visits a day to the site - 725 newsletter subscribers and the 750 plus twitter followers. What gets posted here on the forum gets auto tweeted and also put into the auto sent afternoon newsletter.

As I said, we will need the guru info being circulated, the Iraqi News and diverse topics of interest for the forum topics listed and any other things that you may want to share.

So, who thinks they can jump in and post for me?

Thanks Terbo ! Sorry things have been a bit befuddled for you also. It seems it has been a difficult year for many. And again, I am sorry that we missed each other. It seems like we are two ships that pass in the night.

Ponee, you do what you have to, family comes 1st!!! I kinda know what your going through, I have been off work for 6 1/2 mouths because I broke my back bad and got released to go back to work Monday. I'm excited to go back but the back log sucks lol. My prayers are with you and all. Later sweetie

OH ROYBOY !! I was not aware of your struggles ! I am so sorry for what you have been going through. You should have told us so we could lift you up in prayer. I hope you transition back into the work force is smooth for you and that you are able to take it slowly.

Ponee, thank you but the only lifting I want is the raise in the dinar lol , I try to be some what private to some decree, I am good and my kids where awesome . ;-) Love this site for I can vent here and the site feels like family . You need to concentrate on family and your needs. I'm sure Kevin will keep us in line ;-)

Ponee, I am sorry I wasn't here when you posted this. You know we have your back and are here for you! You Need a Break!!!! Take a Break, clear your head, spend time with your family and don't worry about this place! We Got It!!!!
That is one of the special things about this site, we have always been there for each other!

Ponee - I am glad that you are taking time to take care of yourself - I am glad that you have such dedicated members that care about you and are willing to step in and carry the torch - that speaks volumes for who you are --
