Not a lot of news out of the sandbox today. Some give and take, the first meeting of the new cabinet, Abadi met with the heads of the various security forces and other VIPs, with nothing announced. It continues to appear that progress is being made against IS forces. The situation is far from good, let alone stable, but it is hopeful and assuming the progress started continues we should see some good things happen in time.
