BAGHDAD / NINA/ The leader in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih, confirmed on Friday that the Kurds are seeking to solve the problems of Iraq.

He said in a press statement today that the importance to act with the utmost wisdom with all the possibilities that can appear, and handle them properly," noting that "the Kurds will have to decide their fate in the event of the failure of the counterparty to respond with their efforts to curb the problems of Iraq.

Saleh explained that "the gains they achieved are large and they must preserve them," stressing "the importance of consultation with neighboring countries and the Centre for resolution in Iraq."

He added that "the Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds, must realize that their common interests demand to fight terrorism together," expressing "his conviction that the main cause of Iraq's problems is the lack of a real partnership in running the country."

He continued that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is proud of being the first advocate to establish the concept of partnership government that includes all components in Kurdistan." / End
