Tony there are an Ideal have containing Warka Bank but I do not want to put it on the net to be rework by the agency, so how can I get this information to you to look at, than share it with the TNT Group if it have any important to it. I tried it for a while and need to start again. A word of warning - take it easy and don't push to keep up with their times! I got a little carried away and ended up pulling a muscle that went into spasms. It came on all of a sudden and put me on the couch w/a heating pad, muscle relaxers & anti-inflamatories for a day and a half. It was on my side, right above the waist line. And not just a little pain, it was so bad I could hardly walk. I'm blaming it on doing planks, because I don't have a clue to how else I could have pulled a muscle in that area.

I do plank but it's not the challenge that was posted here a while back. I just do it and I time it wit my iphone stopwatch thingy.
If nothing else I try and do pushups (the lady kind with knees on the floor) and plank.
After the perogies yesterday I think I should add treadmill to the routine. !!!!

Yes take it easy. You don't have to follow the plan. Just do it for as long as you can then stop.
ssmith, if you pulled a muscle you might have had your torso either too high or too low. It's really hard to tell you are doing it correctly unless you have someone like a trainer or someone watching to see you are doing it correctly. Also keeping your head up too high or your neck is not good. You should like like one flat board. Personally I have to keep my head down in order to keep a flat even body otherwise it will bend and that causes muscles to be stressed.

Thanks for the tip. I try to stay straight, but after 1.5 minutes it really starts to get to me. Gotta take my time getting in shape. After all, I didn't get this way in a week!

ssmtih, let me tell you that 1.5 min is PLENTY. Do not push it more than that. I stayed at that time for weeks. I haven't been doing it for almost a year and started back up again and couldn't do more than 45 secs.
My trainer used to tell me that athletes (he was training such as hockey players and other sport guys) couldn't even do 30 secs and they were in shape.
So do not follow the challenge. Go at your own pace and if you can only do a min or 1.5 min that is enough for weeks or months.
I takes a long time to get into shape after not exercising or doing strength training for years or not at all. Those are often muscles we never use. So you do it at your speed and not some stupid challenge.
I will say that pushups and blank helped me shovel snow this winter and damn we had a lot of snow. So high that I couldn't put it on top of the banks (that were on the sides of the driveway) anymore. Without strengthening my back and core I would have hurt myself with things like snow shoveling.
Go easy on your body. It's the only one you have.

It's the 'challenge' part that gets me in trouble. Think I'll stay at the 1.5 min at the present. I've still have my working muscles, thanks to keeping the fireplace burning all winter and gardening/mowing in the summer. I tilled the garden (1200 sq ') and shoveled the dirt to build rows last weekend. So I'm not quite ready for the rocking chair yet. Although I do have a rocking chair on my front porch and love to sit in it at the end of the day w/a cold beer. Speaking of cold beer....anyone seen Turbo???

I have not seen him, but Jazze has probably heard something from him.
I have been missing a lot of people that are not here anymore. Like, what happened to Fang? And a whole slug of other people. And then, Ponee brings back something from the past, and you see a lot of people we have forgotten about. It is kind of fun, but I wonder what they are doing.
