It's really unbelievable what happened to Stella Liebeck. You just have to watch to see how the media turned on this little old lady who lived in Albuquerque. Obviously a villain, right? And at 5:00, prepare to see what the coffee actually did to her. It's not pretty. Well ... nothing in her situation was.

I did not know the story behind it and I am very guilty of judging this woman. I had no idea that McDonald's coffee was THAT HOT! OMG. Did you see those burns on that poor woman? If that had been my 80 some year old mom, I would have been absolutely horrified.
She tried to resolve it, but the "big corporation" didn't want to work with them. Did you see how many OTHER suits against them there were for HOT COFFEE?
I am sorry, that she died before seeing that her story got out.
