Here is a simple and inexpensive recipe for face scrub that you an use even as a body scrub, and it contains all natural ingredients.This cleansing face scrub is mild and suitable for all skin types, and can be used on a daily basis. It’s also suitable for blemished skin that needs to be treated gently, including acne.

You can add few drops of essential oils such as lavender, rose or lemon balm for a fragrant mixture and to enhance the effect of it. You can also mix other herb combinations, and create a personalized mix for your skin.

This face scrub also contain white clay (also called kaolin clay) which has many benefits including antibacterial and detoxification properties. White clay can be used on a daily basis to help clean the skin and remove dirt from the pores. 2 cups white clay
1 cup finely ground oats
1/4 cup finely ground almonds
1/4 cup finely ground lavender, or calendula / rose / chamomile
1/8 cup poppy seeds
A few drops of essential oil (optional)

Combine all the ingredients and store in a glass container. To use, mix 1-2 tsp of the mixture with water, and stir into a paste. Gently massage on the face, and rinse off with warm water
