Post RV Contract Rates?
Hello all, I have only been in this investment a few months now and I am new to this site as well. There is a lot of hype out there to weed through. One Roo Keeps talking about theses 800 numbers that will come out post RV. We will supposedly be able to call in, make an appointment at a specific Bank and select from either a US Contract Rate or a China Oil Credit Contract Rate and have to sign an NDA. These contract rates supposedly are going to way higher that the Street Rate which world be the rate you would receive if you just walk in and exchange your Dinars. I have to say that this sounds like a bunch of bs/hype to me. Does anyone out there know if there is anything even remotely legitimate regarding these supposed Post RV Contract rates? If and when RV comes that is.

Re: Post RV Contract Rates?
I think the silence is pretty much your answer, but let's look at it? 30+ dollars? Really? three dollars would be a massive ROI. It's just not realistic, and as much as I would like to see myself sitting on that kind of moola, it's just not gonna happen.

Kevin do you see the $3.xx rate as realistic...or is it going to be closer to the 1.16 IQD-$1? From what I understand before the Sadam regime took over it was up in the $3 range, but it was artificially inflated(pardon my ignorance, but how can a currency have an artificial value?).

Re: Post RV Contract Rates?
Long story, but basically, the old dinar was trashed by the sanctions & Saddam tried to prop it up by arbitrarily setting it's value where it had been before the sanctions. When the war ended, we replaced the old currencies (which had Saddam's mug on them,) with the IQD, setting the rate initially at about 2000/1 if I remember right. I have seen some good arguments for a value in the neighborhood of $3.50+. Personally, I feel that anywhere from .10 to the 3.50 is possible. but I think the $1.00 range is most likely.
