Here's a quote from Patriot from August 11, 2011.
"Patriot emphatically sets the record straight once and for all that rumors of The Call Squad charging fees is NOT true. The Call Squad is planning extensive post RV to help listening audiences with training and educational broadcasts and there will be no fees. These general calls will be free. Patriot asks for help in stopping this rumor by correcting anyone you know or hear continuing that mistaken information from spreading further. Patriot expresses significant intensity about being misquoted and insists that any misrepresentation be stopped. Nothing will be taken away or charged, if you want free information, have it your way, like Burger King."
So...for the rumors about charging...they are not true.
