9-9-2013 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: "Abdul Basit Turki submit his resignation in the hands of al-Maliki" It has been confirmed...Turki has submitted his resignation. ...we need to look at both sides of this...Is turki resigning because he wants to? Or did Maliki tell him too, or else? We don't know all the facts yet, but I remember when Turki took over, he was concerned about holding his job. And if he was making agreements to move forward with the currency reforms (which appeared he did recently), Maliki may have stepped in and said...resign or I will press charges against you like I did Shabibi! I tend to believe this is what happened over Turki just being frustrated with Maliki.

It is clear from numerous articles implying the government continues to interfere in monetary policy, that Maliki does not want currency reform at this time. I wouldn’t doubt it if Maliki decided to just remove Turki to make sure once again the dinar stays where it is at. On another note, I was told today their was nothing on Al-Iraqiya TV that indicated Turki was resigning.

9-11-2013 Newshound Guru Kaperoni We should be excited about this article...it states within weeks the dinar will be a hard currency and international. That is not subject to translation..he is saying that. Enhance the confidence of the world also means to "embrace it" or "desire it." That will not happen unless the dinar has real value and is international. Just remember who is saying this...he is Chairman of the Finance Committee, Haider al-Abadi. He is not Maliki nor Turki. In other words, he is not the decision maker.

But, it is being spoken by someone who is NOT the decision maker. The question is does Abadi speak on their behalf OR is this a random opinion of his.

I will 2nd what Kap wrote, I have seen 2 different articles stating in weeks. The push is on every where we read . Iraq has done more since June of this year then they have done the total 5-6 years combined that I have been in this. I truly feel we will start to see this investment start to rise very soon if they want to stay on track for the beginning of 2014 . That's my 2 cents worth

You have that right royboy, it has been an interesting few months to say the least. Hopefully your thoughts are correct and we are now on a faster track to the end. 2014 may be our year. I will double your 2 cents and now we have 4 cents worth of opinion. lol
