PLAY LIKE A WINNER by TLF
Hello investors, when I first started posting on Dinar Daily, I would basically post any topic I found
interesting about Iraq and still do. However, my attention is now focused on business
articles and Iraq’s current events. I am also focusing on the Iraq investors and how these investments play out.
What I am finding in my research about Iraq, in the business world, is that there is a great growth in the investment of foreign capital and it is increasing at an unbelievable speed. The business capital is coming from the United States ,
Russia ,Germany, China, France ,Turkey, Italy ,Norway, Iran just to name a few.
The UK has held several business conferences encouraging corporations to
investment heavily into Iraq. The Kurds seem to be courting foreign investors
much better at times than the rest of the country, however they have eliminated
a lot of the the bureaucratic red tape that makes investment in Iraq difficult.
Here are two paragraphs from Iraq business news that will add some clarity.
“The Kurdistan Region has a fast
growing economy built on progressive
economic policies and increasing government transparency. Investment
opportunities span every sector, including oil and gas, power, water and
waste water management, agriculture and the service industries.
With large proven natural resources
and a large work force, the
Kurdistan Region is rapidly outstripping the rest of Iraq. The Kurdistan
Regional Government has passed laws and regulations to encourage and
facilitate foreign investment, offering incentives and legal guarantees.”
Turkey is the dominant trading partner.
If you think Bagdad is out of the picture think again. Check out….. ( www.basraoilgas.com ) and here is just a few of the big named sponsors of last year who are going to participate this at the 4th Basra
International Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition a few of the sponsors are Bertling,
Cameron, China Petroleum Technology, CNPC, Emerson Process Management, FMC Technologies,
Honeywell, Mitsubishi, Mott Mc Donald, Rumalia, Samsung, Scania, Shell,
Siemens, Tenaris and Volvo.
Baghdad will, in my opinion, start to be much more competitive for a piece of the giant pie or they will be left behind big
time. And I can’t see that happening. They will conform or fail .
With this all said, I don’t know when this investment will play out or how much for I am not
an economist. I keep asking myself would you ever bet on a losing horse? Of course
not! Just remember this “The Global” community is betting heavy on Iraq and their playing like winners and so should we.

tlf there is no doubt there is major expansion going on but at the same time many companies are leaving because of security laws that have not passed to protect them and they have not been paid as promised. i believe the growth will continue in spite of this but that this is not a sign of rv having to happen since they can be paid in us dollars
